    Save Our Stages announce SOSFEST with massive lineup

    Save Our Stages, an initiative created by YouTube Music and The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA),  recently announced that it would be launching SOSFEST, a festival to help support independent music venues, streaming live on Oct. 16-18.

    Boasting a massive lineup from an array of genres, the festival is set to feature performances by electronic music acts Major Lazer and Dillon Francis and a myriad of other artists including Demi Lovato, G-Eazy, Macklemore, Finneas, and Miley Cyrus in the pop realm and Portugal. The Man, Foo Fighters, and Dave Matthews from the world of alternative with numerous others.  Please see below the complete list of artists set to perform.

    The festival will aim to raise funds and awareness for financially vulnerable independent music venues.   SOSFEST will be streamed live directly on NIVA’s YouTube page with segments aired simultaneously on each performers’ YouTube channels.  Fans are encouraged to donate directly to NIVA’s Emergency Relief Fund. 

    The NIVA has been urging President Trump to work with legislators on emergency funding for the live entertainment sector of the country.  The bipartisan Save Our Stages Act, which was positioned on Oct. 1, was recently stalled by the president after he announced that he would be walking away from it until after the Nov. 3 election

    Kaskade announces ‘Road Trip’ tour with drive-in shows

    Grammy-nominated artist Kaskade announced that he would be embarking on a new “Road Trip” tour that would feature a series of drive-in shows set to take place from Halloween weekend through late November.

    Hitting the Pacific Coast Highway as he performs seven drive-in shows, the artist will hit the following west-coast cities: Anaheim on Oct. 30 and 31, Pleasanton on Nov. 12, 13, and 14, Ventura on Nov. 20, and Del Mar on Nov. 21. 

    “Things aren’t ‘normal’ yet, and this is a new experience, but I’m not mad at that. I’m looking forward to playing music and seeing those faces, whether there is a windshield between us or not. It’s still a connection, and that’s what I’m here for.”

    Ryan Raddon, more commonly referred to by his artist name, Kaskade is an American DJ, producer, and remixer.  In 2013, he received two Grammy Award nominations for his track “Atmosphere” which earned a nomination for  Best Dance Recording, and the second for his album Atmosphere which earned him a nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album. When the artist isn’t in the studio, he can be seen performing at some of the biggest music festivals in the world including Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, and Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival.

    Elements Festival presents ‘Meadows of Lost Souls’

    Elements Festival announced that it would be hosting a special 2-night, open-air Halloween event titled, “Meadows of Lost Souls,” which is scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ. 

    Having recently hosted a successful edition of “In My Elements” featuring performances by Maceo Plex and DJ Tennis back in July, the festival has decided to host a special Halloween edition of the music event with two packed nights filled with house and bass music.

    Fans can expect a safe partying environment where two-part COVID-19 testing will be taking place.  “In My Elements” provided on-site, advanced COVID-19 testing for all of its staff, talent, and patrons while employing thorough disinfection protocols throughout its three-day retreat.

    “A primary goal of ‘In My Elements’ is to pave the way and provide guidance for how advanced testing could allow increased capacities for gatherings, so that events around the country, including our Elements Music & Arts Festival, can open safely in the fall.”

    Relentless Beats, Arizona’s leading dance music and EDM promoter, recently announced their newest 2-day socially distant experience, Adventure Club: Duality, which is set to take place on Oct. 16 and Oct. 17 at Rawhide Event Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

    Adding to their event series, which will kick off this weekend with a performance by Kayzo, ticket holders will be able to enjoy the melodic tunes of Adventure Club next weekend paired with openers ATLiens and Decadon on Friday and Dion Timmer and Brondo as openers on Saturday.  

    Tickets are currently available starting at $195 plus taxes and fees for each socially distanced pod holding an occupancy of five people.  There will be the option to add three other to parties at the gate.

    Relentless Beats will continue to follow State, Federal, and CDC guidelines for outdoor gatherings, with temperature checks taken upon arrival, facemask requirements, hand-wash and sanitation stations, and social distancing in place.

    Armin van Buuren & Ferry Corsten celebrate ASOT 1000 with b2b set

    Armin van Buuren & Ferry Corsten announced that they would be celebrating A State of Trance’s (ASOT) monumental 1000th episode with a special b2b vinyl set on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 20.00 to 22.00 (CEST).  

    The set will be performed in a special COVID-19 proof setting and streamed live via ASOT’s Twitch, YouTube, and VK channels, providing fans the opportunity to tune in and watch two of trance’s most seminal artists take a trip down memory lane. 

    Armin van Buuren recently asked fans to vote for their favorite featured record of all time on the radio show via ASOT 1000 voting, which is scheduled to come to a monumental close the night of the live-stream.

    Kayzo has been announced for the next Park ‘N Rave concert, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 16, and Saturday, Oct. 17 at the NOS Events Center at 7 pm.

    This will mark the second event of its kind for Insomniac’s Park ‘N Rave concert series, the first is scheduled to kick off the week prior on Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10 and feature a performance by Maceo Plex.

    All passes to the event will include one vehicle per pass with entry to the event for up to five people.  You must arrive before the scheduled show time. Each parking spot will be made available on a first come, first serve basis within the section purchased. Gates to the event will open at 5:30 PM and early arrival to the event is strongly suggested.  This will be an 18+ event.  Alcohol will be allowed in the vehicle for those 21+.  Photo ID will be required to enter the event.

    Hayden Capuozzo, more commonly known by his artist name Kayzo, is an American DJ and producer based in Losa Angeles, California.  Known for his remixes that infuse the genres of both trap and hard-style, his collaboration with Riot on the track “Wake Up” received more than 200,000 plays in less than 24 hours.

    2020 MTV Europe Music Awards reveal nominations

    The 2020 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) revealed its nominations for this year’s upcoming award show ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on Nov. 8, 2020, virtually this year due to COVID-19 concerns.

    Leading this year with the most nominations Is Lady Gaga who received seven, following Justin Bieber and BTS who received five. 

    This year’s “Best Electronic” category saw nominations for Calvin Harris, David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Marshmello, and Martin Garrix (who took home the award in the 2019 ceremony).

    The 2020 MTV EMA’s will see three additional awards added to their programming including “Best Latin,” “Video for Good” and “Best Virtual Live.”

    Fans can vote for their favorite artists through MTV EMA’s official webpage or through social media.  The artist who receives the most votes from fans will take home the trophy.  All voting will close on Nov. 2.

    MTV Europe Music Awards is an award show presented by Viacom International Media Networks to honor artists in music and pop culture.  It was originally conceived as an alternative to the MTV Video Music Awards held in the United States.  Held every year in a different country, the international award ceremony has been typically broadcast in the United Kingdom.  For additional information, please visit the award ceremony’s official web-page here.

    Insomniac’s owned Factory 93 announced a brand-new Park ‘N Rave concert series, which is scheduled to kick-off with a performance by Maceo Plex on Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10 from 8 pm-12 am at the NOS Events Center.

    This event will be Insomniac’s first of its kind as the organizers have laid out some ground rules for those attending.  Up to 5 people will be allowed to attend per car at the event.  Attendees to the event will not be allowed to leave the vehicle or sit on top of the car unless going to the bathroom. All vehicles will be searched, and alcohol will be allowed for those 21+.  Vehicles are to leave their space as they found it.  No trash should be left behind. A trash bag will be provided to each vehicle upon parking.

    Ticket prices will start at $200 per car prior to taxes and fees and will increase in increments for spots closer to the stage with the highest price point for rows 1-3 on sale for $400.  Tickets can be purchased at the following link.  Photo ID will be required to enter the event.  All patrons must be 18+.

    Factory 93 is owned by the esteemed concert promoters Insomniac Events.  Insomniac is responsible for some of the most renowned music festivals and events in the world including Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2021.

    Virtual Sail Aways Live’s September edition will welcome headlining performances by Tritonal, Autograf, Jorn Van Deynhoven, Solarstone, and more who will be performing live from various locations around the world including the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Poland, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.  Fans can expect to see over 30 artists perform in support of The Whet Foundation’s Relief Fund with mixed visuals, #GCFAM parties, and live talent all weekend long.  

    The live-stream will also feature a number of donation incentives including Groove Cruise merchandise, artist activities, and backstage experiences for next year’s forthcoming Groove Cruise Miami trip which will set sail on Jan. 7-11, 2021. 

    This online music festival will also feature Whet Travel’s interactive WhetZoom video chat room for viewers to watch, dance, and donate together, simulating an in-person Groove Cruise sailing.  Further, the event will be hosting its Groove Cruise Night Swim After Hours series which will feature over 24 hours of entertainment with its usual costume changes and pizza deliveries.

    Groove Cruise Virtual Sail Aways Live last stream saw a record-breaking 640,000 live viewers totaling up to 6.19 million minutes watched, allowing Whet Travel to send out 250 relief grants to those facing hardships during this time. 

    The Whet Travel Foundation’s Relief Fund is a nonprofit focused on giving back for anyone dealing with difficulties and creates exciting experiences for underprivileged children in South Florida, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

    Tiesto announced that he will be performing a special virtual dance party from Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 8 pm PST.  

    Kicking off at 6:30 pm with fellow artists from his Musical Freedom recording label, the performance will celebrate the release of his new track, “The Business,” which will see its debut off Atlantic Records on Friday, Sept. 25 and also culminate with the video for the track on Tiesto’s YouTube channel.  Fans can tune in to see the performances live here.

    Monster Energy’s Up & Up Festival adds to its “Welcome Back” virtual college event, which is scheduled to stream live on Monster Energy’s YouTube channel from Oct. 9-11. 

    The “Welcome Back” virtual festival will feature its largest roster of headlining artists across 21 stages.  Featured at the virtual event will be performances by NGHTMRE, San Holo, Ghastly, Ekali, Sullivan King and 3LAU to name a few.

Recorded live from an industrial steel plant in Amsterdam, the set will be transformed into the six themes as he delivers a high-octane DJ set.

    Oliver Heldens has been helping to support a number of causes during the global COVID-19 pandemic including performing a live stream benefit show at The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.  The event raised over $70,000 for the Equal Justice Initiative and Color Of Change in collaboration with Digital Mirage.

    Most recently, Katy Perry called his remix of her single “Daisies” her favorite remix of all time, and subsequently added it to her album.

    The electronic dance music duo intends to take premium live streaming to new heights with these performances.  The duo will be implementing within their set visuals and technology created by Emmy-nominated artists in addition to numerous ways fans can get involved at home.  

    The duo will kick-off the live streaming extravaganza with a set Oct. 3 titled “For Your Mind,” which will be a two-hour modern performance with retina enhancing visuals.  There will be a plethora of new and exclusive Cosmic Gate composed music to accompany the graphics.  Music featured within the set will include their collaboration with Andrew Bayer on, “The Launch” as well as remixes of Andrew Rayel’s new single, “Everything Everything.” Also included will be the recent releases, “Universal Love” and “Your Mind.”

    Their second live stream on Saturday, Oct. 17 appropriately titled, “The Classics” will presumably feature the duo’s trance induced classics throughout the performance; however, more details regarding this stream are still yet to be announced.

    These performances will mark their first time reuniting after six months, which makes the anticipation of the events even more heightened.

    Tickets for Cosmic Gate In Concert are $9.99 USD for each show or $15.99 USD for both events, with limited early bird tickets (at a 20% discount rate) available now.     Nocturnal Wonderland 2020 announces its virtual lineup

    Nocturnal Wonderland 2020 announced its lineup for its Virtual Rave-A-Thon, which is scheduled to take place Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19 from 6 pm-12 am PT on Insomniac TV and can be watched here. 

    Hosted by Insomniac’s Founder Pasquale Rotella, the event will feature performances by 4B, Barely Alive, Benny Bennassi, Black Gummy, Borgore, Chris Lorenzo, Drezo, GG Magree, Justin Martin, Luke Andy, Mark Knight, Modestep, Nitti Gritti, Rabbit In The Moon (Live), Schade, and VNSSA.

    Nocturnal Wonderland is expected to return in 2021 on Sept. 18 and 19 at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, California.  The lineup has still yet to be revealed but its 2019 event saw performances by JAUZ, Joy Ryde, Mat Zo,  Zeds Dead, and Zomboy.  Pre-sale tickets have been released and can be purchased at the following link.  Tickets start at $99 for two days with a $9.99 deposit.  Camping passes do not include festival passes. .This will be an 18 and over event.
