The 2021 Grammy Awards Nominations were announced for the upcoming 2021 Grammy Awards, which will broadcast on CBS on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at 8 pm EST.

Leading the nominations in a number of major categories including Record of the Year and Song of the Year was Beyoncé who received a total of nine Grammy Nominations.  Other notable contenders include Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, and Roddy Ricch who are all up for six awards.

In dance music, appearing in both categories for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album is Disclosure and Kaytranada.  Disclosure is up for Best Dance/Electronic Recording with the single, “My High” featuring Aminé & Slowthai while Kaytranada is nominated for “10%” featuring Kali Uchis.  For Best Dance/Electronic Album Disclosure is up for their album Energy while Kaytranada is up for the album, Bubba.  

Other nominees for Best Dance/Electronic Recording are Diplo & SIDEPIECE with “On My Mind,” Flume with “The Difference” featuring Toro y Moi,  and Jayda G with “Both of Us.”  Other nominations in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category is Arca’s Kick I, Baauer’s Planet’s Mad, and Madeon’s Good Faith.

During the 2020 Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish swept all major categories including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year with multiple wins for Lizzo and Lady Gaga as well.
