    Secret Project announces One Project Los Angeles

    Party brand Secret Project will be delivering the finest house and techno artists in a special one-off event titled, One Project on October 3-4, 2021  in Downtown Los Angeles Arts District.

    Featuring a range of notable international stars alongside some of Los Angeles’ underground acts, One Project is slated to appear performances by award-winning artist Maceo Plex, Life and Death founder DJ Tennis, techno maven Nina Kraviz, melodic house artist Ben Böhmer, Detroit’s DJ MINX, and many more.

    Creating a more familial environment in a new location with a unique layout, One Project will be hosting a 360 dancefloor outdoors surrounded by an iconic industrial environment of factories, bridges, and art.

    Tickets to One Project are currently available at Secret Project’s official website starting at $80 with fees for a 2-day pass. It will be an all-day event starting at 1 PM – 11 PM

    Since its inception in 2018, Secret Project has aimed to provide a platform for Los Angeles underground dance music artists to perform alongside some of the global community’s leading DJs and producers.  Secret Project will return to Los Angeles in 2022 and is slated to host a sold-out edition at the famed Amsterdam Dance Event in October 2021.

    After recently announcing the launch of its new recording label, the revered party brand CircoLoco has now revealed the artist lineups for its 2021 US tour, which is scheduled to make its way to New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles by the end of this year.

    Breaking new ground in 2021, CircoLoco’s US tour will be first heading to an undisclosed Brooklyn warehouse for two nights during Halloween weekend where Grammy nominee Black Coffee will headlining on Friday, October 29 with support by Life and Death owner DJ Tennis.  On Saturday, October 30 The Martinez Brothers will be taking the stage alongside Crosstown Rebels founder Damian Lazarus and Solid Grooves’ Michael Bibi.

    For its Miami and Los Angeles festivities, CircoLoco will be welcoming icons Seth Troxler and Tale of Us on December 3 during Art Basel while closing out in Los Angeles the following night on December 4 for a day-into-night bacchanale.

    CircoLoco Records announces the second installment of its compilation series with the release of its Monday Dreamin’ Green EP which is available to stream/download now.

    Featuring five unrestrained tracks from some of underground’s biggest names, Monday Dreamin’ Green EP features the likes of Moodymann, tINI, Jamie Jones, DJ Tennis, and Mano Le Tough. The release marks the second EP in a four-part series leading up to the full release of the Monday Dreamin’ compilation album out on July 9th.

    CircoLoco Records’ Blue EP turned heads as it featured its lead single “’Lumartes” by Seth Troxler which became Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune this week.  The remaining Violet and Black EPs will see their debut on June 18 and June 25 respectively.

    Uniting two of underground’s finest acts, Chinatown Block Party will be featuring a rare sunset set by Life and Death founder DJ Tennis alongside Gerd Janson, the founder of the tastemaking label, Running Back.

    This announcement adds to Future Primitive’s upcoming summer lineup which includes the Jamie Jones’ event Paradise In The Park at Pershing Square on August 21, 2021.

    Future Primitive is an LA-based promoter and event company that hosts some of the most desirable parties featuring a diverse array of underground dance music talent.  Just some of the events and artists featured have included Guy Gerber’s Rumors, Jamie Jones’s Paradise, Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream, and many more. 

    Manfredi Romano, more commonly known artistically as DJ Tennis (a moniker created for his devotion to the sport) is known for his underground productions that infuse psychedelic dark sounds.  The artist can be found performing at a range of underground music events including BPM Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, and EDC Europe to name a few. This news comes shortly after the artist celebrated 10 years of his recording label Life and Death with its own TV show via Twitch at the following link.

    With new episodes expected to air every day, LIfe and Death TV will be its own “psychedelic universe” building upon the mission of its website launched last year to breed community connection. Featuring segments from DJ Tennis, famed Chefs Sergio Meza & Tomás Bermúdez, Juba, Umoid, Marcello Giordani, and more, the programming will range from emo carpet tufting and psychedelic art creation sessions, to bike tours around the world, to charting the transformation of Robot Heart resident Benjamin Alexander from a DJ to Jamaica’s first Olympian skier. 

    Music remains at the core of Life and Death, and its ethos of cutting-edge curation spreads across its Twitch channel programming. Juba’s “Global Dancefloor” examines the African diaspora within dance music alongside model and artist Exocé Kasongo. Peruvian artist Umoid will be tufting a special Life and Death mural rug in her home country to her soundtrack of carefully curated electronica. 

    With the launch of Life and Death TV, DJ Tennis’s label continues to push the boundaries of creativity through multiple mediums across the globe.

    Insomniac Events revealed that Secret Project and Ill Points will be coming together to deliver a two-day techno event in Miami on April 30 and May 1, 2021.

    Expected to be outdoors and fully CDC compliant, Secret Project and Ill Points have conjured-up a massive lineup of techno acts to be featured on the event’s two stages.  This will include performances by Black Coffee, Bedouin, Luciano, DJ Tennis, Danny Daze, Aurora Halal, Eric Pryz, Green Velvet, Michael Bibi, Dixon, Gerd Janson, Trikk, and many more during its “sunset sets.”

    This announcement follows a number of East Coast events that Insomniac Events has revealed in recent weeks including Abduction 2021 in Orlando on April 10 and its annual EDC Orlando held on November 12-14 at Tinker Field Stadium.  With the lineup for EDC Orlando still yet to be revealed, Abduction will be featuring performances by  4B, Acraze, Barely Alive, Bassrush, Dazy, Diplo, Dirty Audio, Dombresky, Habstrakt, Jinx, Pierce Rated R, Sloth, Tchami, Virtual Riot, and more.

    The Desert Hearts crew have announced that they will be taking over Insomniac’s Park N Rave concert series for two nights on Nov. 14-15 at NOS Events Center in Southern California.

    Following a string of successful shows featuring performances by Maceo Plex, Kayzo, and Adventure Club, and with an upcoming Halloween and Dreamstate edition, Insomniac’s Park N Rave announces its further expansion of two packed nights filled with music and the crew of Desert Hearts.

    Featuring a headlining set by DJ Tennis on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Justin Martin as its headliner on Sunday, Nov. 15, Insomniac’s Desert Heart Park N Rave will be providing its ticket holders with just the night filled with techno. 

    Founded by Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, and Porky, Desert Hearts is known for its annual festival in Southern California, which earned the title of “Best Boutique Festival” this year from DJMag.  Focusing on art, music, and community its festival, events, and stage takeovers are known to be a tribute to “house, techno, and love.”  The founders have been putting their music on display with sets and releases that can be heard on their recording labels Desert Hearts and Desert Hearts Black and with streams held each week on Twitch.

    Insomniac’s Park N Rave concert series provides ticket holders with an exclusive concert in a safe, socially distant environment.  Cars will be admitted into the event with five occupants allowed in the car at a time with additional occupancy upgrades available for up to eight people.

    On June 16, EXIT Festival 2020 announced its first phase lineup, which is scheduled to be held this August 13-16 in the Petrovaradin Fortress.   This announcement comes after Prime Minister Ana Brnabic requested that organizers of EXIT, Serbia’s largest festival, to not cancel the event due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic but reschedule it from July to August.

    On June 16, In My Elements 2020 announced its initial dates and lineup which is scheduled to be held in a private location in Northeastern, Pennsylvania on July 10-12.  The location will only be disclosed to ticket holders.  ‘In My Elements’ is known to be an open air retreat that combines music, art, wellness, and activities.

    Music, which will span its Air and Water stages, will include performances by: Maceo Plex, DJ Tennis, Doc Martin, DJ Holographic, The Golden Pony, Tony Y Not, Papyon, and more regional DJs still yet to be announced.

    The retreat will ask all individuals to ditch their cellphones in order to attain a full digital detox with mindful activities.  This will include morning yoga, meditations to help calm the mind, lakeside games, unique performances, marshmallows, campfire songs, art installations, and sustainability initiatives.

    To ensure the safety of all its patrons, this boutique retreat will be held at a strictly limited capacity of 250 people. The retreat will be providing on-site, advanced COVID-19 testing, which all staff, talent, and patrons will be asked to complete while employing thorough disinfection protocols throughout the three day event.

    All guests will stay in boutique cabins that will have the essential needs of hot showers, bathrooms, and electricity.  For those who have a larger group, there will an opportunity to bunk together.  All cabins will be operating at fifty percent capacity to allow proper distancing measures.
