    Spring Awakening Cancun 2021 headliners are revealed

    Spring Awakening Cancun 2021 announced its headliners for next year’s inaugural edition of the international event, which is scheduled to take palace from Wednesday, April 28-Sunday, May 2, 2021at the Grand Oasis Resort in Cancun, Mexico.

    The 5-day/4-night trip has secured headlining performances by Zeds Dead on Thursday, Claude VonStroke on Friday, and Dillon Francis on Saturday.

    The trip will be all-inclusive and feature morning yoga and wellness classes, daily pool parties with special guests, hotel takeovers, a special Spring Awakening Block Party, an opening party at Dady-O’s, closing parties, a complimentary LiveXLive membership, and an added boat party option as well. 

    Should the trip be canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, it will be rescheduled with all tickets being fully refundable if unable to attend the rescheduled event.     Spring Awakening Cancun 2021 was recently announced as a celebratory 10th-anniversary event for the Chicago-based Spring Awakening Music Festival.     Save Our Stages announce SOSFEST with massive lineup

    Save Our Stages, an initiative created by YouTube Music and The National Independent Venue Association (NIVA),  recently announced that it would be launching SOSFEST, a festival to help support independent music venues, streaming live on Oct. 16-18.

    Boasting a massive lineup from an array of genres, the festival is set to feature performances by electronic music acts Major Lazer and Dillon Francis and a myriad of other artists including Demi Lovato, G-Eazy, Macklemore, Finneas, and Miley Cyrus in the pop realm and Portugal. The Man, Foo Fighters, and Dave Matthews from the world of alternative with numerous others.  Please see below the complete list of artists set to perform.

    The festival will aim to raise funds and awareness for financially vulnerable independent music venues.   SOSFEST will be streamed live directly on NIVA’s YouTube page with segments aired simultaneously on each performers’ YouTube channels.  Fans are encouraged to donate directly to NIVA’s Emergency Relief Fund. 

    The NIVA has been urging President Trump to work with legislators on emergency funding for the live entertainment sector of the country.  The bipartisan Save Our Stages Act, which was positioned on Oct. 1, was recently stalled by the president after he announced that he would be walking away from it until after the Nov. 3 election

    On June 24, DJ Snake announced the release of a heavy new single titled, “Trust Nobody.” Marking the first release of 2020 for the multi-platinum electronic dance music artist, DJ Snake provides a vicious drop within the track coupled with visceral beats.

    Known for his ability to match catchy hooks with his own mind-bending sound, the track expands on his originality seen with his first album in 2019 titled, Carte Blanche. 

    The album, which became a massive success for the artist, hit Billboard’s #1 US Top Dance/Electronic Album chart. Just two of the hits included in the album were: “Taki Taki,” which became a triple-platinum hit that surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify and featured Selena Gomez, Ozuna and Cardi B and “Loco Contigo,” which became one of Spotify’s most streamed songs of 2019 with J Balvin and Tyga.

    DJ Snake is a multi-platinum French electronic dance music artist.  His 2016 album Encore reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart debuting top ten around the world. 

    His initial success began in 2013 when he released, “Turn Down for What” with Lil Jon followed by “Get Low” with Dillon Francis, “You Know You Like It” (with Aluna George), and “Lean On” (with Major Lazer, featuring MØ)  all further released in 2014. 

    These tracks catapulted the star with a number of other opportunities which included the four-time platinum hit, “Let Me Love You” ft. Justin Bieber in 2016 and “Taki Taki” ft. Selena Gomez, Ozuna & Cardi B in 2018. 

    Carte Blanche  arrived in July 2019 reaching to the top 50 on the Billboard 200 chart. 

    DJ Snake now holds the title of being one of two dance music artists in the world to have three songs amass more than 1 billion stream on Spotify.
