    Disclosure release ‘ENERGY’ Special Edition album

    Disclosure announced the release of a Special Edition of their Grammy-nominated album ENERGY, which is currently available to stream/download via Capitol Records.

    Spanning across three discs, ENERGY Special Edition features all of the projects that Disclosure have been a part of in 2020.  This includes their lauded Ecstasy EP, which was released back in February in addition to a plethora of remixes for the tracks and singles featured on the album.  The Special Edition wouldn’t be complete if it didn’t include their popular hits such as “Know Your Worth” with Khalid and “Talk.” Every essential piece of current Disclosure music is featured in the Special Edition album to keep fans dancing into the new year.

    Disclosure – Watch Your Step ft. Kelis

    This release coincides with a number of recent announcements from the duo including the recent share of the official music video for “Watch Your Step” featuring Kelis and their own VIP remix of the track, which is available to stream/download here.     Since its release back in August, ENERGY has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album, marking their third consecutive album to earn a nomination in that category. The album has gone on to accumulate  187 million global streams with album sales reaching 152,000. “My High” ft. Aminé and slowthai, was named one of the 100 Best Songs of 2020  by NPR and also earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. To date, Disclosure have received a total of seven Grammy nominations in a span of seven years.

    Grammy-nominated duo Disclosure shared the official video for their new single, “Watch Your Step” featuring Kelis, which is currently available to stream/download from the duo’s album ENERGY, via Capitol Records.

    Directed by the remarkable Kid Studio, the video shows an office party, family gathering, or school dance that holds fond memories of people just being together.  Kid Studio has also turned out exceptional videos for the duo previously with  “Birthday” and “Energy.”  

    This announcement comes shortly after Disclosure revealed their VIP Remix for “Watch Your Step” just last week.  Disclosure’s VIP Remix follows other remixes for the track including Harvey Sutherland and Denis Sulta.

    On August 28, Disclosure announced the release of their highly anticipated album, ENERGY which is currently available now on Capitol Records and can be downloaded or streamed here

    ENERGY marks the follow-up release to their Grammy-nominated 2015 Caracol. To announce their album release the electronic dance music duo unveiled the official video for “Birthday” featuring Kehlani & Syd.

    The duo has also teamed up with design collective Blockworks and Island Records to create an immersive meta-verse within Minecraft inspired by ENERGYFans can join Disclosure’s dedicated server in the video game and discover a square mile of hills, rolling streams, and dark caverns made up of 100 million blocks.  For additional information and to play the game head over to here

     It has also recently been announced that Disclosure will be a part of the newest line-up for the BBC Radio 1 Residency. Disclosure’s residency will air on BBC Radio 1 every second Monday of the month, beginning September 14.

    Disclosure announce live stream ahead of album release

    On Aug. 13, Grammy-nominated UK duo, Disclosure announced a live stream event in partnership with Amazon Music, which is scheduled to take place on Aug. 17 from The Plitvice Lakes in Croatia at 1 pm ET (10 am PT.)  The virtual event will take place just two weeks before their album, Energy, will be released on all platforms on Aug. 28 via Capitol Records.     The duo has already released three tracks, which are set to debut on their forthcoming album including, “ENERGY,” “My High” featuring Aminé and slowthai, and the uplifting “Douha (Mali Mali)” featuring Fatoumata Diawara.  All songs showcase the duo’s versatility in style and production ability.

    Produced and broadcast by Cercle, a French media company, in partnership Amazon Music, the live stream will see the brothers performing a DJ set in the unique and magnificent setting of The Plitvice Lakes.  The performance will be aired via Cercle’s Facebook page and will be followed by a live Q & A after the set. Fans can expect some exclusive firsts from never-before-heard music.

    The track, which was screaming for a high-enerngy remix by a talented producer led Capitol Records and Katy Perry to call upon Heldens.  The artist stepped up to the task and delivered his exceptional quality of sound and unique style.  Heldens added a tight house beat to meet with a bassline in the rework.  Perry’s vocals resound joyously among the perfectly paired synth chords.
