Cosmic Gate release ‘MOSAIIK Chapter One’ from 2-part album

Grammy-nominated trance duo Cosmic Gate release Chapter One of their highly-anticipated two-part album MOSAIIK, which is available to stream/download now via Black Hole Recordings.

Cosmic Gate – MOSAIIK Chapter One

Opening with the lead single, “Blame” featuring Diana Miro, the album kicks off with hair-raising, emotion, and deep undulating undertones.  This track has already seen massive success by accumulating over one million Spotify streams since its release back in March.

The album also includes another Diana Miro collaboration “Nothing To Hide” which is also seeing similar success as its predecessor, and “Feel It” which also received a remix treatment from AVIRA on the album as well.  The duo also features a diverse range of new singles, “Feel It,” “Your Mind,” “Summer Wonder,” “Vertigo,” “These Dreams,” “Universal Love,” which range from euphoric and sentimental to hard and club-focused.

“When we laid all of ‘MOSAIIK’s ideas, drafts, and demos for new avenues out, it almost overwhelmed us. That played a part in the decision to split the album into two. There was such a span to it that Bossi & I both felt there was almost a danger of ‘too much, too soon.’ So ultimately the two Chapters of ‘MOSAIIK’ will click together to present that broader vision of our music.”

    Nic Chagall of Cosmic Gate

It’s all about proportion though. They fit in as part of a vision which is wider – and is only going to become more so.  The singles ‘Your Mind’ and ‘Feel It’ attest to this, and when testing the album tracks at some recent live shows, ‘Vertigo’ – with its dark & techno-ish vibe, got some incredible crowd reactions.”

    Bossi of Cosmic Gate

MOSAIIK Chapter One is currently available to stream/download in all digital formats with a CD edition set to follow with Chapter 2.

Conduit launches cost-effective technology for livestreaming

Conduit launches a new, cost-effective game-changing suite of tools and technology to the world of live streaming that has been used by Kryder, Insomniac TV, and Black Hole Recordings.

    Kyrider X Insomniac TV

With an aim to find a more immersive and interactive format for livestream entertainment, Conduit provides a way to dynamically capture the energy of an artist’s performance and feed that into an interactive audio-reactive world. With cost-effective technology, now everyone from artists, labels, and events will be able to upgrade their live streams with newly interactive visual performances.

Since launching in early 2020, Conduit has produced a number of full feature-length performances for Insomniac TV, Kryder, and Black Hole Recordings.  The debut Kryteria show for Insomniac TV features a full range of services including full-body motion capture, avatar creation, rigging, and audio-reactive world development.

Kryteria Metaverse – Behind the Scenes

“We partnered with Conduit for a series of virtual performances after they wowed us with the technology and its possibilities. The reception to the first airing on Insomniac TV and Nicky Romero’s Protocol show blew people’s minds and we are excited to deliver the forthcoming Kryteria Metaverse album using the technology next month. Big things coming!”

    Kryder

Conduit has also used the game engine to create a series of trailers and visuals for ilan Bluestone’s upcoming album Impulse on Anjunabeats.

“We have been working with Conduit on the new ilan Bluestone album campaign which visually has turned out to be a roaring success across our social media platforms and has brought the campaign and ilan’s visual world to life just how we imagined.”

    Amy Wiles from Anjunabeats

“Working with Conduit and their technology has been absolutely mind-blowing. The graphics and animation potential of the Unreal Engine and the creative ideas from the Conduit team are just on another level as they showed in the trailer for my new album ‘Impulse’. The Unreal Engine is the future of any CGI video and I’m excited to see this technology evolve and can’t wait to start using it as visuals for my live shows.”

    ilan Bluestone

The underlying game engine technology used is the same that VFX studios including Disney rely on to create productions such as the recent Star Wars Mandalorian series and the Marvel CMU movies, amongst other CGI heavy productions. In terms of live performances, the action is captured via a series of virtual cinematic cameras that combine to create a sense of real connection to the artist and the performance. Instead of just big-budget Hollywood and video game productions, now everyone can benefit from this technology.

Conduit is at the forefront of this new technological development.  For prices and additional information, please visit Conduit’s official website.

Cosmic Gate announce new album with lead single ‘Blame’

Grammy-nominated electronic music duo Cosmic Gate announced a forthcoming new album with the release of its lead single, “Blame” ft. Diana Miro, available to stream/download via Black Hole Recordings.

    Cosmic Gate – Blame

Opening with an enticing vocal, “Blame” is a hair-raising, emotive release that showcases Cosmic Gates’ ability to captivate with sonic ease. With deep undertones and staccato lyrics to create an element of suspense, the track mesmerizes into a euphoric crescendo and finalizes with evocative emotion.

I wrote this song when one of my friends was struggling with plans – again – not coming to life. It’s a sad situation, but I always ask myself: do we really need what we want, as nowadays others influence most of our desires. We endlessly spin in this social media “mill” and it’s so hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. At least music always stays true to us. I’m so happy this song has landed with Cosmic Gate. They’ve produced an amazing deep sound that truly reflects the mood of our times. I can’t wait to share it with the world!

    Diana Miro

Marking their first single of 2021, “Blame” saw its premiere during the duo’s Miami Open Skies livestream last weekend.  During the broadcast, the duo also announced their eleventh studio album MOSAIIK is scheduled to be released this summer.

Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems make up the German electronic music duo Cosmic Gate.  The two have released nine studio albums over the span of their career and have provided countless remixes for venerable acts that include Markus Schulzdeadmau5Armin van BuurenFerry Corsten, and Tiesto.  They can be found performing at some of the most desirable festivals and nightclubs in the world including EDC Las Vegas, Ministry of Sound, and Privilege Ibiza.

Kryder & Mark Roma team-up on a mesmerizing new release titled, “Pleasure Or Pain” which is available to stream/download via Black Hole.

Kryder & Mark Roma – Pleasure Or Pain

Opening with progressive-infused synths, “Pleasure Or Pain” is an alluring vocal radiating with evocative emotion.  Diverging from Kryder’s typical lighthearted house sound, the release ventures into darker realms with striking lyrics that pronounce, “The world we know is changing.”  Enlisting Mark Roma for the release, the track features a purposeful beat that merges trance and progressive elements into a dancefloor-ready destroyer.

This release comes after a successful 2020 for Kryder who put out releases on Axtone, Spinnin’, and Musical Freedom. The artist has recently crossed a number of genres, particularly with his recent remixes of ilan Bluestone’s & Maor Levi’s “Hold On” and Solarstone’s, “When I Dream.”  Since these releases, the artist has been leaning to a more trancier side of his artistry and continues to evolve his sound in time.

Christopher Knight, known artistically as Kryder, is an English DJ/producer best known for his record “K2.”  His original releases “Aphrodite” via Axtone Records and his remix of Kölsch ft Troels Abrahamsen’s “All That Matters” both reached number one on Beatport’s Top 100 chart.  The artist has won an International Dance Music Award for Best Latin Dance Track and can be seen performing at some of the biggest stages including Tomorrowland in Belgium.  For additional information on Kryder, please visit his official Facebook Page.

HALIENE recruits MaRLO to remix, ‘Walk Through Walls’

HALIENE recruits MaRLO to remix her new solo single, “Walk Through Walls” which is currently available to stream/download via Black Hole Recordings.

HALIENE – Walk Through Walls (MaRLo Remix)

Receiving a jolt of electrifying energy, MaRLO’s fresh-new take on “Walk Through Walls” transforms the original dance record into a glorious mix of trance and progressive sounds.  With HALIENE’s magnanimous vocals showcased throughout the track, the uplifting release serves as a proper follow-up to MaRLO’s Markus Schulz remix which was released at the end of 2020.

“As a female vocalist in dance music, I often come face to face with walls. I’m told my solo music should be given to a DJ producer and released as a collaboration, that I need to fit within the current format to be successful. However, every time I’ve hit a wall in this genre, I have found a way to break through it. I have found people who say YES. This release is about just that. Walking through walls in every area of our lives. Where you are told you CAN’T, you CAN, if you only believe. Truly it is only our own fear and insecurity holding us back.”

    HALIENE

HALIENE is the voice of some of the biggest tracks in dance music that include “Saving Light,” “Rush Over Me” and “Ave Maria.” For additional information on HALIENE, please visit her official website.

Founded in 1997 by Arny Bink and Tiësto, Black Hole Recordings saw instant success with Tiësto’s hailed “Magik” mix compilations which allowed the recording label to expand.  In 1998, Black Hole Recordings added two new labels to their imprint: “In Trance We Trust” and “Songbird”, which became the label of choice for Tiësto’s “In Search of Sunrise” series (currently spearheaded by Markus Schulz).  Black Hole Recordings became home to a number of lauded DJs and producers’ first DJ mix compilations including Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, DJ Montana, Cor Fijneman, Johan Gielen, and Ton TB.   Now, after almost 25 years, Black Hole Recordings still is one of the biggest independent electronic dance labels and true to its credo “Captivate, Communicate and Celebrate.” For additional information on Black Hole Recordings and its releases, please visit its official website.

This year has undoubtedly been unprecedented due to the pandemic we are living through, and every day begins with a wish for normality while we battle anxiety and worries. As artists and DJs, we’ve all had to be creative in order to stay connected with you while the clubbing scene remains closed. And all of these little musical things I hope to act as a means of escape from the outside world and daily struggles, even if it’s just for a little while.

It is for that reason that I am proud to announce that my next artist album is indeed titled ‘Escape’, and you’re going to hear some of my soundscape visions like you’ve never heard them before, and indeed, never seen them before. ‘Escape’ arrives on Friday, September 25th, and in conjunction with the album, I’m going to be virtually taking you to some of the most breath-taking and stunning scenic locations to perform live.
