Oliver Heldens remixes Roger Sanchez’s iconic track ‘Another Chance’

In honor of its twentieth anniversary, world-renowned dance music artist Oliver Heldens remixes Roger Sanchez’s iconic number one single, “Another Chance” which is available to stream/download now via Ministry of Sound.

Oliver Heldens & Roger Sanchez – Another Chance

Having been heard across the stages of Lollapalooza to Creamfields UK, Oliver Heldens transforms “Another Chance” into a modern progressive house gem that revitalizes the essence of Sanchez’s quintessential original. Enrapturing listeners with the track’s mesmerizing vocal, its airy synths propel forward with a pulsating, driving beat.

“Roger’s ‘Another Chance’ is one of my all-time favorite House/Dance music records, so it’s such a big honor for me to do this remix for the 20 year anniversary of this iconic song! While trying to stay true to the original, I went with a more modern Progressive House approach and the result is pretty epic, but still timeless I think. I’m super happy with the great response on it so far from my recent shows in the US and at Creamfields in the UK, and judging by all the DJs that have already hit me up about this remix, we might hear it on many different dance floors in the near future. Hope you like it too! :)”

    Oliver Heldens

To coincide with the 20-year anniversary, Roger Sanchez has released a mini-documentary that explores the history of the record titled, “20 Years Of Another Chance: How Roger Sanchez Made A Dance Classic.”  Directed by Phillipe Andre, the documentary follows the artist’s recent DJ Mag North America Cover story along with a slew of support from fans and media alike.

Oliver Heldens & Roger Sanchez will be performing alongside one another at their biggest London show to date on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Printworks.  For tickets and additional information, please visit the following link.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic last year, the festival postponed its 2020 edition, a decision which the Chicago Mayor called “difficult.”

“Here in Chicago, the word ‘Lollapalooza’ has always been synonymous with summer, great music, and four days of unforgettable fun – which made last year’s decision to postpone it all the more difficult.

Now, less than a year later and armed with a vaccine that is safe, effective, and widely available, we are able to bring back one of our city’s most iconic summer music festivals,” Lightfoot continued. “I want to thank the Lollapalooza team for working closely with the City to create a reopening strategy that prioritizes safety and can’t wait to see festivalgoers return to Grant Park this summer.”

     Lori LIghtfoot, Chicago Mayor

Full COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results within 24 hours before attending the festival will be required for admission, in accordance with current public health guidance. Further details on the festival entry process will be available in early July, officials said.

Four-day passes to Lollapalooza 2021 are currently on sale now for general admission, GA+, VIP, Platinum, and hotel packages.  Single-day tickets are expected to be made available at a later date. For additional information on Lollapalooza, please visit the festival’s official website.

This news follows the release of two tracks where he showcased his darker techno alias HI-LO.  The first was a collaboration with Reinier Zonneveld on ¨Saw Of Olympus” and the second was with Will Clarke on ‘Check.¨ Within a span of a year, the artist has dropped 26 original releases and remixes under his two monikers, making him Beatport’s best-selling artist of 2020.  He also became the most played artist on 1001tracklists and one of the Top 450 most-streamed names on Spotify.  For additional information on Oliver Heldens, please visit his official website.

  • HI-LO & Reinier Zonneveld deliver ‘Saw Of Olympus’

HI-LO & Reinier Zonneveld deliver ‘Saw Of Olympus’

Oliver Heldens teams up with Reinier Zonneveld to deliver a HI-LO collaboration titled, “Saw Of Olympus” which is available to stream/download via Filth on Acid.

HI-LO x Reinier Zonneveld – Saw Of Olympus

Opening with a mesmerizing soundscape, “Saw of Olympus” is a robust techno gem showcasing HI-LO’s exploration of the underground.  Featuring Filth on Acid label head Reinier Zonneveld, this single marks the first of what is to expected be a series of new material from the duo.  Reinier has also notably worked with Speedy J and Dyen, while HI-LO has connected with T78, and Will Clarke.

“Over the last few years I’ve become a big fan of Reinier’s productions, his style, and his label Filth on Acid, so a few months ago I sent him a couple of new HI-LO ideas that I was working on and he was really into them, so he invited me to his studio to work on some of these together. In the studio we were a really good match, it was very inspiring for the both of us, and I definitely learned a lot from him. We ended up doing multiple studio sessions and we are working on a few different tracks together now which I’m really excited about! This new track ‘Saw of Olympus’ is the first one that we finished. We called it ‘Saw of Olympus’, because the track has a very distinctive Saw synth, a real “Saw of the Gods”, continuing the Greek god theme of my latest HI-LO releases Athena, Kronos, Zeus, and Poseidon. Hope you like it :)”

    Oliver Heldens

“Since the whole scene is in lockdown and sitting at home, everybody has more time on hand to work on new things. For me, this is a great way to explore new collabs that might not be the most obvious ones. Oliver Heldens has been sending me some of his techno works for over a year already – under his alias HI-LO. I really liked what I heard and invited him over to my studio. Turns out he is a great producer and a very fun guy to work with, and we ended up doing regularly very inspiring and productive sessions which resulted in a whole bunch of new tracks that we’re both very happy with! One of these tracks is Olympus of Saw, and I’m really happy to share it with you on my label Filth on Acid NOW!”

    Reinier Zonneveld

Oliver Heldens reserves his HI-LO alias for his deepest sounds and darkest records.  He has taken the techno scene by storm by releasing massive records that have earned support from the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, UMEK, Amelie Lens, deadmau5, and Above & Beyond amongst others.  His two releases “Zeus” & “Kronos”, landed in the top 10 of the most supported Techno tracks on 1001tracklists in 2020, which was a contributing factor to the artist being awarded the coveted number one spot as the most supported artist on the platform.

Oliver Heldens delivers stunning house vocal, ‘Never Look Back’

Internationally acclaimed DJ/producer Oliver Heldens teams-up with vocalist Syd Silvair on a stunning house release, “Never Look Back” which is currently available to stream/download via Heldeep Records.

Oliver Heldens – Never Look Back (feat. Syd Silvair)

Kicking off with a catchy vocal by Syd Silvair amidst fast-paced steel drums, “Never Look Back” is an upbeat anthem of pure grooving energy.  In true Heldens’s style, the track is simplistically composed of tuneful bass with divine melodies that allow the earworm vocal to be put on display in the chorus.  The sunkissed single encompasses a range of tropical elements to represent the uplifting message to live in the moment and “Never Look Back.”

This announcement follows a stream of projects that Oliver Heldens was a part of in 2020.  This includes the release of 25 original hits and remixes under his own name and HI-LO alias.  Among the tracks include the powerful releases, “Break This Habit” and “Set Me Free.”  The artist also found time to launch another imprint OH2 Records nestled under the umbrella of Heldeep Records, which leans toward more commercial-sounding releases. He also performed a string of sets virtually for F1, Tomorrowland, EDC, The Nations Room Service, Proximity’s Digital Mirage, and DJ Mag.
