Galantis, David Guetta & Little Mix – Heartbreak Anthem

Opening with the astounding vocal talent of Little Mix, “Heartbreak Anthem” is an emotively catchy slice of dance-pop perfection.  The track’s buoyant beats are paired flawlessly with a range of colorful elements courtesy of the star-studded sounds of Galantis and David Guetta. Featuring uplifting piano chords and inspiring lyrics, the track delivers a resilient message amidst a breakup that it is not a “heartbreak anthem.”

“We’ve been working on ‘Heartbreak Anthem’ for over a year now! It started with just the chord progression at a studio in London right before the pandemic. As many collaborations have gone in these times, it was a remote work in progress for months, with stems sent back and forth from London to Los Angeles to Stockholm to Paris. We’d been talking with David about working together for a long time, and having Little Mix and their unique, strong vocals has made this one really special. Feels great to finally get this out into the world!”

    Christian Karlsson (Galantis)

To correlate with the release, “Heartbreak Anthem” is paired with a stunning music video showcasing the captivating harmonies of songstresses Little Mix.  Directed by Samuel Douek, the visual artist also teamed up with the girl group for their buzzing visualizer “Confetti” just last month.

“We both used to play in bands when we were younger so it was awesome returning to our roots and working on something that had that type of energy. We’ve been big fans of Ship Wrek, playing out tons of their tracks on tour, and felt like it was a matter of time before doing something together. Once we got to know GASHI, it was the icing on the cake.  He complimented this song perfectly and we’re super stoked that it’s yours to enjoy.”

    Loud Luxury

“We started this record around the time everything shut down because of COVID. Around the same period, we met the Loud Luxury guys and started talking about working together. We all wanted to try something kind of outside the box and decided to work on ‘Amnesia.’ We’ve been really inspired by what the punk/alternative scene has been doing right now and on this record, we wanted to merge two worlds together to create a harsher electronic sound. Since none of us were touring we had time to hang out and really focus on it. We’re all very proud of this record and can’t wait for the world to hear it.”  Ship Wrek

Andrew Fedyk and Joe De Pace are more commonly known as the Canadian duo Loud Luxury.  Their worldwide smash-hit “Body” (feat. • Galantis & JVKE team-up on ‘Dandelion’

Galantis & JVKE team-up on ‘Dandelion’

Grammy-nominated duo Galantis team-up with viral sensation JVKE on a brand-new release titled, “Dandelion” which is currently available to stream/download via Big Beat Records.

    Galantis & JVKE – Dandelion

Featuring irresistibly distorted vocals, “Dandelion,” tells a story of fleeting love with a signature vivacious beat.  The pop-infused dance release marks the latest track in a series of several genre-defying Galantis collaborations.  On “Dandelion” the duo collaborates with viral sensation JVKE whose debut single, “Upside Down” rapidly became one of the biggest TikTok songs of 2020.  Generating over 15 million videos and over 7 billion plays on the popular social media platform, it also paved the way for a remix featuring Charlie Puth.

“’Dandelion’ came about after JVKE requested to hop on a Galantis Instagram Live. I recognized him from TikTok and I asked him what he was up to. He said he was working on an idea for a song and started to sing it for me. I really loved the vibe and he asked if I was down to work on it together. We ended up sending it back and forth and it became this natural organic collaboration with no real plan or goal. The past year has really changed how we make music and work with other artists, with negative circumstances actually opening doors to unlikely opportunities.”

    Galantis

Since 2020 Galantis have released, “Tu Tu Tu (That’s Why We)” with NGHTMRE & Liam O’Donnell and “Pretty Please” with Jackson Wang.  They have also provided remixes for Pele (“Acredita No Véio” feat. WHIPPED CREAM & Lil Xan – Told Ya (MONXX Remix)

Closing out the year with a final surprise to fans, WHIPPED CREAM’s “Told Ya” (ft. Lil Xan) remix package features two reworks from rising artists BOM and MONXX.  The first remix, courtesy of BOM, is a dub-step infused rendition with heart-pounding bass that is sure to become a 2021 dancefloor-ready staple. The second rework comes from British grime producer MONXX who infuses his remix with elements of bass house, coupled with a wobbly drop.

This announcement comes shortly after WHIPPED CREAM released her critically acclaimed ‘WHO IS WHIPPED CREAM’ EP, which has been lauded by fans and press around the world.  The artist has been steadily releasing remixes for the EP’s stand-out singles including “I Won’t Let You Fall,” “Dumb Sh!t” (ft. Jasiah), and now, the EP’s hip-hop infused trap banger “Told Ya” (ft. Lil Xan).

“Was so pumped to throw this remix together for my girl Whipped Cream. The original track was already fire, so I just took the best elements and gave them some oomph. Blast this thru ya speakers heavy for me ”

    BOM

“I enjoyed the original, it was a pleasure to put a wonky twist on it.”
