Producer Joseph Ray, one-third of the Grammy-award winning trio NERO, released a brand new techno single, “300 Below” which is available to stream/download via Big Beat Records.

Joseph Ray – 300 Below

Opening with a pulsating beat, “300 Below” is a seven-minute sonic journey with atmospheric builds that crash into beat drops.  Evoking an ominous feel, the track hints at something brooding is yet to come with a crescendo of sounds that mesmerize from start to finish.

“300 Below” presents a hint of what to expect from Joseph Ray’s forthcoming solo EP due out later this year.  The artist made his solo debut in 2019 with the double single, “Room 1.5 / Chem-EX” on Above & Beyond‘s Anjunadeep imprint.

To accompany the single, the track is paired perfectly with a kaleidoscopic visualizer to portray the hypnotic nature of the release.  Created by Strangeloop Studios, the visual artist is a favorite among high-profile artists including Skrillex, Flying Lotus, Amon Tobin, EARTHGANG, Dog Blood, and more.

Joseph Ray is the co-founder of the electronic dance music trio NERO who rose to stardom in 2006 after releasing their drum n’ bass EP “Requiem.” The group garnered early support from influential DJs including Diplo, Chase & Status, Skream, and Tiësto and released two studio albums and countless singles and remixes.  They received a Grammy Award in 2013 for their remix of “Promises” with Skrillex and have been nominated and won awards at numerous other ceremonies.
