To celebrate the dance music artist’s upcoming birthday on December 5, deadmau5 will be performing an exclusive headlining set with his friends. Joining him on stage showcasing her stunning vocals will be Kiesza who will be performing their collaborative release, “Bridged By A Lightwave.” The evening will be packed with music as Wolfgang Gartner is scheduled to perform with support by mau5trap’s own No Mana.

Deadmau5 & friends birthday thing aligns perfectly with the five upcoming Park N Rave events that are scheduled to kick off on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Marking the artist’s sixth performance at the end of December and into January, the artist has also confirmed dates to perform a special Testpilot set on Saturday, December 2, and sets at The Chula-Vista Drive-In on January 7 and January 8.

Falling right before deadmau5’s birthday on December 5, birthday thing aligns perfectly with the five upcoming deadmau5 Park N Rave events that will kick off on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Marking the artist’s sixth performance at the end of December and into January, the artist has already confirmed dates to perform on Thursday, December 31, Friday, January 1, a special Testpilot set on Saturday, December 2, and sets at The Chula-Vista Drive-In on January 7 and January 8. deadmau5 will headline five Insomniac Park N Rave events, which are scheduled to kick-off on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2020) and New Year’s Day (January 1, 2021) at NOS Events Center.

Following his back-to-back New Year’s performances, deadmau5 will be taking it underground with a special Testpilot set on January 2 hosted by Factory 93.

This announcement follows a number of upcoming Park N Rave events which have been revealed for December. deadmau5 & Kiesza tease ‘Bridged By A Lightwave’ collaboration

deadmau5 & Kiesza announced that they would be collaborating on an upcoming single, “Bridged By A Lightwave,” which is scheduled to be released on Nov. 13 via mau5trap. The track is available to pre-order now here.

Deadmau5 took to social media to announce the collaboration as the artist uploaded a short 14-second video clip teasing the track. Featuring Kiesza’s stunning vocals atop deadmau5’s ominous production elements, the 14-second clip is just enough to have listeners yearning for more.

Further adding to the announcement, the two are scheduled to perform “Bridged By A Lightwave” together at deadmau5’s upcoming Halloween show in Chicago, “Day of The deadmau5.” The artist shared the news on social media by saying, “Chicago!! …a quick confirmation @Kiesza will be performing the new single ‘Bridged By A Lightwave’ next week; out soooooon on mau5trap ;)”

deadmau5 recently revealed an exclusive pre-ADE playlist for Amsterdam Dance Event’s 2020 “mood of the year” series.

In partnership with Amsterdam Dance Event and Deezer, the festival’s “mood of the year” playlists have been created to sonically embody the curating producer’s 2020 frame of mind. Some previous submissions include curations by Alesso, Black Coffee, Boris Brejcha, and the legendary, Tiësto.

Electric Zoo Supernaturals 2021 reveals its phase-one lineup

Electric Zoo Supernaturals 2021 revealed its initial phase-one lineup with dates for next year’s festival scheduled to take place over Labor Day Weekend on Randall’s Island from Sept. 3-5, 2021.

Marking its 12th annual edition, New York City’s premier electronic music festival will feature headlining performances by Illenium, Kaskade, Alesso, deadmau5 as his techno alias Testpilot and a special, sunset set by Tiesto.

Next year’s event will also feature a slew of stellar performances by a number of festival favorites including (listed alphabetically) Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, Bakermat, Carnage, Chris Lorenzo, Cosmic Gate, Deorro, Duke Dumont, Loud Luxury, Seven Lions, Valentino Khan, Zeds Dead, Zomboy, plus 50 additional acts slated to be revealed in the coming months. Stages will be hosted by freeform electronic label Wakaan, Zeds Dead’s imprint Deadbeats, and LA party collective Brownies & Lemonade.

This announcement comes just recently after the music festival canceled its 2020 edition due to COVID-19 and made an announcement about a Cancun edition, which is scheduled to take place from April 7-11, 2021. Freaky Deaky 2020 announces its phase-one lineup

On June 11, Ubbi Dubbi Gets Freaky Deaky 2020 announced its first phase lineup of artists scheduled to perform at the Houston Raceway in Baytown, Texas on Friday October 30th and Saturday October 31.

The first phase lineup of the two-day electronic dance music festival consists of over 50 acts which will include performances by: Adventure Club b2b Snails, Claude VonSttroke, Crizzly, deadmau5, Excision, Flux Pavilion, Galantis, Green Velvet, Timmy Trumpet, Toi Boi, Vini Vici, and Zeds Dead with many more still yet to be announced.

The festival’s first tier of tickets are scheduled to be released for sale on Monday, June 15 at 10:00 AM CT and are expected to sell out quickly due to the current state of entertainment industry from the Corona virus pandemic. This announcement actually comes as a surprise considering most festivals have been cancelled in 2020. However, Disco Donnie’s Freaky Deaky will continue on in 2020.

Freaky Deaky also announced the debut of its camping program, which will provide its attendees with the ability to set-up campsites. Payment plans starting as low as $24 down, plus shipping are available for general admission while GA+ and VIP tickets and payment plans will also be available.
