    Armin van Buuren releases new mix album, ‘A State Of Trance 2021’

    After recently hitting the one thousand episode milestone for his A State Of Trance radio show, Armin van Buuren returns with his, A State Of Trance 2021 mix album that is available to stream/download now via Armada Music.

    Marking the eighteenth installment of his lauded mix album series, A State Of Trance 2021 brings together astounding collaborations between Armin van Buuren and Maor Levi, Tom Staar and Giuseppe Ottaviani, a fresh Rising Star Remix, and exclusive new tracks from creators such as Alexander Popov, Aly & Fila, AVIRA, Craig Connelly and Giuseppe Ottaviani.

    “I can hardly believe we’re already at the eighteenth edition in this mix album series. A lot of artists – myself included – had a lot of fun in the studio this year, and the amazing output reflects that.     Kryder & GVN remix ilan Bluestone & Maor Levi’s recent hit “Hold On” featuring Alex Clare, which are available to stream/download in a remix package by Anjunabeats.

    Featuring five tracks including the original, the package opens with a remix by Kryder who puts his own house-infused garage spin on the track.  Highlighting the breathtaking vocal by Alex Clare at its forefront, the remix picks up the pace with euphoric energy.  Kryder has previously reworked the likes of Lost Frequencies, Basement Jaxx, Benny Benassi, and Chicane, as well as Grum’s “Afterglow”

    Next in the package is a remix by GVN who presents a triphop-infused rendition of its counterpart. With anticipatory vocal breaks and emphatic synths, the track closes in a symphony of rollicking emotion.  GVN recently made his debut on Anjunabeats with the release “I Don’t” which earned support from BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Above & Beyond, and Gabriel & Dresden.

    “We always got shivers while listening to Alex’s ‘Too Close’. It was a huge record in the U.K. As it turned out Alex was teaching a friend of ours to play the guitar. Another mate went to the same gym as Alex, so managed to get in contact.” 

    “We originally sent Alex a different instrumental to record on. He sent us the vocal back and we were so inspired by it that we decided to create a completely new record that fit his vocal better. ‘Hold On’ is about embracing every moment in life: “..it’s too short to be filled with tears.”

    Friends and Anjunabeats collaborators ilan Bluestone & Maor Levi have been working with each other since 2011.  They are known for producing the hit singles, “Will We Remain?,” “Can You” and “The Distance,” in addition to remixing for Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Gabriel & Dresden. 

    London based singer/songwriter Alex Clare broke onto the scene in 2011 with the album The Lateness of the Hour on Island Records. Produced by Diplo and Switch, the album included the cross-Atlantic hits “Treading Water,” “Up All Night” and “Too Close,” which went on to become Top 10 in the UK and the United States.
