“Making Happy Machine throughout quarantine has been one of the most fulfilling and serendipitous processes I’ve experienced as a musician.  My goal was to give people something joyous during a time of deep uncertainty and turmoil, something I hope will provide a little levity and fun. This is my most collaborative album yet, and being able to work with so many talented artists, songwriters, and producers from all over the world toward this common goal to create something positive when we were all going through this difficult experience felt unifying and hopeful.”

Dillon Francis & 220 Kid unveil the music video for ‘Unconditional’

After recently releasing the inspirational track “Unconditional” back in June, illustrious talent Dillon Francis and British producer 220 Kid unveil the official music video for the single featuring British singer Bryn Christopher.

Dillon Francis & 220 KID – Unconditional ft. Bryn Christopher

Directed by Brandon Dermer, the video follows Francis and Danielle King masked as an elderly couple showing “unconditional” love toward one another in a series of humorous youthful antics. The visual radiates the single’s message perfectly, exuding a feeling of celebration and jubilee.

“Dillon and I have been collaborating for the past six years and our goal is always to make you laugh and smile.  When he first played me the song it just made me feel so happy and optimistic. Then you add in the artwork for the track of Dillon’s grandparents, holding one another so deeply in love. We knew that the story for the video had to be an old couple skateboarding, partying and having the best day ever.”

    Brandon Dermer

“Unconditional” is the first track expected to appear off Francis’s upcoming full-length house project.  Since its debut, the artist also announced his second forthcoming album single, “Love Me Better” a buoyant dance-pop production with British producer Shift K3Yand vocalist Marc E. Bassy.

  • Life Is Beautiful 2021 reveals a stellar lineup of over 60 acts

Life Is Beautiful 2021 reveals a stellar lineup of over 60 acts

Life Is Beautiful 2021 revealed a massive lineup of over 60 acts for the 3-day festival that is set to take place in downtown Las Vegas on September 17–19.

The Beautiful Life | Life is Beautiful 2019

Scheduled to headline the event will be five-time Grammy award-winning songstress Billie Eilish, alternative group Green Day,  psychedelic music phenomenon Tame Impala, rapper A$AP Rocky, and electronic music artist Illenium.

“When curating the lineup for Life is Beautiful this year, we challenged ourselves to stay grounded in the realities of the year that we just lived. The way we discover artists changed, the places we listened to music evolved, and the meaning of music deepened as we listened in new ways. This year’s lineup isn’t our 2019 lineup in 2021. It’s our 2021 lineup, and celebrates the artists, both established and emerging, who were the shining lights during our darkest days.”

Justin Weniger, partner at Life is Beautiful.

The star-studded 2021 lineup will also include an eclectic range of sounds across the music spectrum including electronic music performances by Glass Animals, Gorgon City, FISHER, Dillon Francis, Cash Cash, Joel Corry, and Lost Frequencies, alongside hip-hop sensation Ludacris and alternative-rock group Modest Mouse.  Please see below for the full list of performers.

  • Dillon Francis releases new single, ‘Be Somebody’

Dillon Francis releases new single, ‘Be Somebody’

Dillon Francis announced the release of a brand-new single titled, “Be Somebody” (feat. Evie Irie), which is available to stream/download via Casablanca Records here.

“Be Somebody” showcases Francis’s production ability as he delivers a soundscape punctuated by airy guitar and wild synths that build to a precipitous drop.  Australian singer/songwriter Evie Irie adds vocals to his production with a chanting chorus that empowers and promises for her and her friends to “Be Somebody.”

The track adds to Dillon Francis’s long list of collaborations. He has previously worked with an array of artists including G-Eazy, Brendan Urie, lovelytheband, Cuco, and was the producer and songwriter for Panic! As the Disco’s hit track, “hey ma I made it,” which spent 11 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs Chart.

“’Be Somebody’ is an ode to all the people that told me I was just a class clown and wasn’t gonna make it.”

    Dillon Francis

“Be Somebody is Dillon’s story, and I’m so lucky to help share it. When he was telling me the inspiration behind his idea, I totally related to it. Just a small kid with big dreams in a school ground.”

    Evie Irie

American DJ/producer Dillon Francis is a  platinum-selling artist whose discography encompasses a slew of hit tracks including the #1 Dance Radio Airplay hit “Anywhere”[feat. Will Heard], the #1 Billboard Dance Club Songs chart-topper “Coming Over” with Kygo [feat. James Hersey], and the RIAA platinum-certified “Get Low” with DJ  Snake which surpassed 500 million worldwide streams.  When the artist is not in the studio, fans can find him performing at some of the most venerable festivals and events including EDC Las Vegas and Spring Awakening Cancun.
