After recently announcing its return in 2022, Primavera Sound unveils a stunning lineup for its historic twentieth anniversary which is scheduled to take place in the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain on Thursday, June 2 – Sunday, June 12.
Featuring over 400 artists over the span of an unprecedented 11 days, Primavera Sound 2022 confirmed headlining acts Massive Attack, Tame Impala, Beck, The Strokes, Gorillaz, Tyler, The Creator, and others over the course of weekend one from June 2-June 4.
Continuing with the programming from June 5-8, Primavera a la Ciutat will be hosting 50 more concerts, spread over 10 venues in Barcelona with Disclosure, Jamie XX, Charlie XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more.
Headlining its second weekend will be new headlining performances by Dua Lipa, Lorde, Jorja Smith, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and the return of artists from weekend one Gorillaz, Tyler, The Creator, Massive Attack, The Strokes, and Tame Impala to name a few.
To close out the festival on Sunday, June 12 the event will be hosting Brunch-On-The-Beach, a closing party on the beach of Sant Adrià de Besòs. The daytime party will feature views of the sea with electronic music stars Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, and Peggy Gou, among numerous others.
Encompassing two different weekend lineups, Primavera Sound will be revealing more surprises and its weekday program for the venues in Barcelona in the coming weeks.
Tickets already purchased for the 2020 and 2021 editions will allow ticket holders to attend Primavera Sound 2022 Barcelona – Sant Adrià. The buyer must choose between one of the two weekends, but there will be options to upgrade to attend both weekends as well. New tickets for Primavera Sound 2022 Barcelona – Sant Adrià in all their forms will go on sale on Wednesday, June 1st on DICE.
