    Belgian producer Maxim Lany reveals a stunning music video for his ambient release, “Shadows” featuring Nathan Nicholson which is available to stream/download via Armada Electronic Elements.

    A perfect visual accompaniment to the haunting release, the music video traverses the lives of four personalities who are all leading different isolated experiences. Using the power of a split-screen, the video shares their adventures in tandem unifying their stories into one.  The video closes on a poignant note that further emphasizes the track’s message of living in secrecy.

    “Spingun approached me and we immediately connected through Maxim’s fundamental idea to tell the story of several characters who are all linked through their isolation. Focused on the emotional part of isolation, we developed four individual settings with four characters and created a cinematic concept to connect all of them in the end. Working with split-screen was an interesting challenge during the whole process, which was, all in all, a very exciting experience.”

    Electronic DJ/producer Maxim Lany announces a debut artist album with the release of its first single, “Shadows” (featuring Nathan Nicholson), available to stream/download via Armada Electronic Elements.

    Opening with a minimalist beat, “Shadows” is a captivating new single with an enrapturing vocal and a scintillating soundscape at its backdrop.  With lyrics that are both euphoric and mysterious, the single mixes gorgeous strings with melodic features to capture both light and dark elements. Working with fellow collaborator Nick Nicholson, “Shadows” is a hint of what is to come with Maxim Lany’s forthcoming debut album, Closer, You’re Not Alone due out later this year.

    “The concept of my debut album stems from the realization that all people struggle with the situation we find ourselves in. I felt that I could make music in order to help others as well as myself, in order to show them that they weren’t alone in this. ‘Closer, You’re Not Alone’ is about bringing people together in a closed world and using music to focus on the positives. I hope this new single with Nathan Nicholson means a step in the right direction for a lot of people in that regard.”
