    John Digweed releases 4-disc album, ‘QUATTRO II’

    Iconic dance music artist John Digweed released his highly anticipated 4-disc compilation album, QUATTRO II, which is available via Bandcamp, Spotify, CD, and Vinyl via Bedrock Records.

    Divided into four distinct parts, Soundscape, Tempo, Redux, and Juxtaposition, Quattro II boasts 50 striking new productions. A true testament to Digweed’s unparalleled work ethic, the album is packed with new, unreleased tracks featuring some of electronic music’s finest producers. The album is a follow-up to the highly successful QUATTRO album released last April and follows the same formula as its predecessor.  

    Packed with emotion, the four-disc compilation takes listeners’ on a journey that kicks off with Soundscape and closes out with Robert Babicz’s Juxtaposition. The album is packed a number of industry heavyweights including Dino Lenny, EdOne, Guy Mantzur, Hannes Bieger, Josh Wink, Robert Babicz, and, of course, Digweed alongside long-term friend and production partner Nick Muir.  Featuring a myriad of diverse sounds, QUATTRO II is packed with harmonious chord progressions, feel-good house vibes, ambient textures, and scintillating soundscapes, which are sure to arouse the senses.

    EdOne debuts on Bedrock with ‘Cramp’ EP

    Techno artist EdOne makes a debut on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records with a three-track EP, “Cramp” which is currently available to stream/download.

    Opening with the EP’s title track, “Cramp” is a sonic masterpiece that takes listeners on a journey with emotive and suspenseful elements throughout its 7-minute offering. With an expertly crafted ensemble of sound design amidst infinite soundscapes, EdOne’s production prowess is showcased at its forefront.  Continuing the EP’s journey is the second track, “Freedom” which boasts tribal beats with oscillating tempos. Finally, the EP closes out with  “Ruled By Inept” which is a plucky single fueled by dissonance and alarm-stricken synths.

    John Digweed reveals mixed LP ‘QUATTRO II’

    John Digweed announced that he will be releasing a mixed LP, QUATTRO II, which is slated for release on February 23, 2021, via Bedrock.

    QUATTRO II will be a follow-up to his wildly triumphant QUATTRO compilation.  Since the industry shut down back in March due to COVID-19, John Digweed called upon his favorite producers to begin working on the 4-disc project.  A true testament to Digweed’s unparalleled work ethic, the album is packed with new, unreleased tracks featuring some of electronic music’s finest producers.  With CD and vinyl orders already exceeding demand, fans are encouraged to pre-order their limited edition signed copies now which are exclusively featured on Bedrock’s official website

    QUATTRO II is distinctly divided into four parts.  The first is “Soundscape,” which features atmospherically enchanting ambient textures and synths. “Tempo” advocates a melodically driven acid sound, while “Redux” boasts a feel-good house vibe. The last part, “Juxtaposition,” is exclusively mixed by German stalwart Robert Babicz, delivering an album full of futuristic electronica and ambient textures fans are sure to embrace.

    Aligned with the album announcement, John Digweed has also revealed that he will be delivering an exclusive New Year’s Eve Charity Fundraiser in a Livestream performance to bring the party directly to his fans at home.  The event is scheduled to take place on December 31 from 21:30 – 01:00 (GMT).  Digweed teamed up with  Macmillan UK, an organization that provides physical, financial, and emotional support for cancer patients. Fans can purchase their ticket via Mixcloud or donate at the artist’s Just Giving page.
