    Armin van Buuren recently debuted the official anthem for A State Of Trance 1000, “Turn The World Into A Dance Floor” and unveiled the top 50 tracks of the fan-voted ASOT Top 1000 in a historic 5-hour episode that reached over 50 million people on January 21.  The artist plans to further celebrate with a full-blown A State Of Trance 1000 weekend taking place in September of this year.

    Armin van Buuren reaches 50 million fans with A State Of Trance 1000

    Armin van Buuren’s monumental 1000 episode of his A State Of Trance (ASOT) radio show reached 50 million fans from 121 different countries during its broadcast on January 21, 2021, at 5 pm (CET).

    The historic, five-hour episode debuted the official anthem for A State Of Trance 1000 and unveiled the top 50 of the fan-voted ASOT Top 1000.  The artist also revealed plans for a full-blown A State Of Trance 1000 weekend taking place in September of this year.

    Armin van Buuren’s official track for A State Of Trance 1000, “Turn The World Into A Dance Floor,” features captivating piano riffs that radiate uplifting emotion.  The track embodies the artist’s message and vision that he had for the show since it began in 2001 and is currently available to stream/download via Armada.

    Taking center stage in a seven-day long A State Of Trance 1000 stream, was a countdown list of the most popular ASOT-played records of all time based on the votes from the show’s fan base.  Its 1000 episode counted down from number 50 to number one with the top release going to Armin van Buuren’s 2005 single, “Shivers.” The entire ASOT Top 1000 list can be viewed and listened to here.

    Announced during the live show, Armin van Buuren will be paying tribute to his twenty years of A State of Trance radio show with an official  ASOT 1000 celebration on Friday, September 3.  Continuing with the festivities on Saturday, September 4 will be another event in-line similar to its milestone celebrations which have taken place in the past.  In order to gain access to the exclusive fan pre-sale that starts on January 28 at 1 p.m. (CET), fans need to register before midnight on January 27 via its ticket website.  The regular ticket sale starts on January 30 at 1 p.m. (CET).

    Armin van Buuren reveals A State Of Trance Top 1000 list

    Armin van Buuren revealed 950 tracks from his all-time A State Of Trance Top 1000 list leading up to his 1000 episode of A State Of Trance (ASOT), which is scheduled to air on January 21, 2021, at 5 pm (CET).

    The top 1000 list will be taking center stage in a seven day long A State Of Trance Top 1000 stream that will kick-off when episode 999 ends on January 14, 2021, at 10 pm CET.  Featuring everything from ASOT year mixes, exclusive interviews, fan videos, and the official countdown of the A State of Trance Top 1000 list, the show will feature Armin van Buuren, co-host Ruben de Ronde, and monthly show resident Ferry Corsten.  The list is a culmination of the most popular ASOT-played records of all time based on the votes of the show’s fan base.

    When stream ends on Thursday, January 21, the 1000 episode will dive headfirst revealing the final top 50 tracks from the A State Of Trance Top 1000 list.  Airing live from ASOT radio studio in Amsterdam, there will also be a number of ASOT celebrations to coincide with the celebration.

    Armin van Buuren & Ferry Corsten celebrate ASOT 1000 with b2b set

    Armin van Buuren & Ferry Corsten announced that they would be celebrating A State of Trance’s (ASOT) monumental 1000th episode with a special b2b vinyl set on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 20.00 to 22.00 (CEST).  

    The set will be performed in a special COVID-19 proof setting and streamed live via ASOT’s Twitch, YouTube, and VK channels, providing fans the opportunity to tune in and watch two of trance’s most seminal artists take a trip down memory lane. 

    Armin van Buuren recently asked fans to vote for their favorite featured record of all time on the radio show via ASOT 1000 voting, which is scheduled to come to a monumental close the night of the live-stream.  

    “Celebration the milestone number of 1000 episodes means looking back as well, and I feel that the best way to do so is to play some vinyl again. I couldn’t think of anyone better to do this with than Ferry; it’s a great honor and I’m really excited for this to happen next week Thursday!”
