Opening with delicate piano instrumentals below a hair-raising vocal, “Next To Me” is a soothing deep hose release with enchanting vocals and a breathtaking melody. The release glides effortlessly to a gorgeously produced dance beat with lyrics that pierce the core and build toward a culminating, satisfactory conclusion.
Inspired during the pandemic while recording in Joshua Tree, the track was polished six months later in the studio and now sees its spellbinding release. The track showcases the band’s refined ability in capturing the attention of mainstream audiences while never losing sight of its underground roots.
“there were a lot more yearning lyrics being put down when we were writing the track, but we felt it didn’t need any of the darkness that you hear on a lot of our other records. We wanted to create something more positive, a kind of homage to the feel-good soul of classic house music. I am sure there is part of this that reflects a feeling in our lives and relationships. We wanted to share that with this track.”

This single follows the reveal of the band’s North American Fall Tour, which will touch down at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center, Phoenix’s Arizona Federal Theatre, Dallas’ The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, and a to-be-announced Houston venue. The band has already experienced an immense demand for their live return, selling 70,000 tickets in three days for their largest headlining shows to date at Los Angeles Banc of California Stadium.
