LSR/CITY is an inventive collection containing five brand-new NFTs accompanied by five brand-new Gareth Emery songs.  There will also be auctioned off a one-of-a-kind laser sculpture priced at $250,000, that will allow one lucky buyer to watch the NFT played live in concert to a crowd of thousands.  The winner will get to choose to watch the show from a dedicated VIP viewing platform or in the DJ booth with Emery himself.

“The sculpture is pretty bonkers, but I’m glad to have a whole range of prices for the rest of the collection from $1 to $5,000. I look forward to making laser history with Nifty Gateway this week!”

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Emery was forced to cancel his arena show last year which was expected to feature nearly 60 lasers in sync at a time.  Typically seen by hundreds of thousands of people each year, the idea behind LSR/CITY was born.

Emery and laser designer Photon filmed intricately choreographed laser shows using a variety of shutter speeds and lenses to create mind-bending patterns, before displaying each show inside beautifully-rendered glass cubes in a series of cities designed by 3D artist Ilya Tsvetkov.

The four city-based pieces will include original music by Gareth Emery encapsulating each of the city’s feal and all feature a backdrop of the city’s aesthetic.  The cities featured will be LONDON, TOKYO, LOS ANGELES, and GENESIS and range in price from $1 to $5,000.

Gareth Emery releases remix package for ‘You’ll Be OK’

Dance music icon Gareth Emery released a massive remix package for his gorgeous vocal with Annabel, “You’ll Be OK” which is available to stream/download.

Featuring five tracks including the original, “You’ll Be OK” The Remixes features a delectable array of trance-infused energy to complement the heartwarming original.  With remixes by Andrew Rayel, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Cloudnone, and Jorn van Deynhoven, the package kicks-off with hard-hitting trance and makes its way to incorporate downtempo rhythms as well.

One standout remix comes from budding producer Cloudnone who encapsulates the sensitivity of the original release while putting his own spin on the record.  Never losing sight of its message and energy, the track opens with Annabel’s heartwrenching vocal while infusing a downtempo beat at its  backdrop.  Creating a relaxing, lounge-induced feel, the vocal is spliced at its drop and marks another exceptional release to Cloudnone’s growing catalog of standout singles.

To coincide with the announcement, Emery also revealed the official music video for “You’ll Be OK.”  The sentimental visual showcases Annabel’s emotive vocal at its forefront while providing a glimpse into memorable moments of people’s lives.  The visual is a perfect pairing to the track’s nostalgic feel and message.

“You’ll Be OK” marks the artist’s first single off Gareth Emery’s forthcoming new album LASERS, which is currently available to pre-order here.
