    ZHU releases stunning new album ‘Dreamland 2021’

    Grammy-nominated electronic music artist ZHU released his third studio album Dreamland 2021, which is available to stream/download now via Astralwerks.

    Featuring 12 stunning tracks, Dreamland 2021 is a dazzling body of work that combines poignant and powerful elements with mysterious and delicate melodies.  A true showcase of ZHU’s diverse artistry, the album journeys through tender piano chords, rugged guitar riffs, and haunting soundscapes.  Featuring a number of tracks never heard before, the LP also features a number of recent successful favorites that include, “Sky Is Crying” feat. Yuna, “Yours” feat. Arctic Lake, and “ONLY,” a collaboration with Tinashe.

    ZHU will be celebrating his album release during his six sold-out DREAMROCKS shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO in May. He will also be performing at numerous 2021 festivals, including ARC, III Points, and Outside Lands with his tour schedule below.

    ZHU announces forthcoming new album with ‘Sky is Crying’

    Grammy-nominated artist ZHU announces the debut of a new album, DREAMLAND 2021 with the reveal of a brand-new single, “Sky Is Crying” ft. Yuna avialable to stream/download via Astralwerks.

    Written by Yuna and Aaron Leibowitz, “Sky Is Crying” is an alluring dance release showcasing ZHU’s iconic dark sound.  The seductive release features the vocal talent of Yuna paired perfectly with the mysterious vocals of ZHU radiating with goose-bump-inducing synths.  Both deeply poetic and raw, the haunting single captivates throughout its entirety. 

    Helmed by Birdy Ben and produced by ELMØ for EL MOTION LAB, the visual for “Sky Is Crying” offers a thought-provoking look at the impact the extended lockdown has had on artists, fans and the live music experience.  Featuring black-and-white animation of newspaper headlines on the virus, the visual delivers a poignant message of how the pandemic has changed the world.

    “Sky Is Crying” will be featured on ZHU’s upcoming album DREAMLAND 2021, which is slated for release on April 30 and is available for pre-order here.  Those who pre-order the album will instantly receive “Sky Is Crying” plus ZHU’s 2020 collaboration with Tinashe, “ONLY.”
