Featuring an eclectic roster of talent, the four-day festival has announced Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, and Tyler the Creator as its headliners.  Other notable artists from the dance music industry include Marshmello, Illenium, Kaytranada, Steve Aoki,  Oliver Heldens, Alison Wonderland, Slander, Tchami, Jauz, Yelloclaw, Subtronics, Cash Cash, Sullivan King, Dombresky, and many more.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic last year, the festival postponed its 2020 edition, a decision which the Chicago Mayor called “difficult.”

“Here in Chicago, the word ‘Lollapalooza’ has always been synonymous with summer, great music, and four days of unforgettable fun – which made last year’s decision to postpone it all the more difficult.

Now, less than a year later and armed with a vaccine that is safe, effective, and widely available, we are able to bring back one of our city’s most iconic summer music festivals,” Lightfoot continued. “I want to thank the Lollapalooza team for working closely with the City to create a reopening strategy that prioritizes safety and can’t wait to see festivalgoers return to Grant Park this summer.”

     Lori LIghtfoot, Chicago Mayor

Full COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results within 24 hours before attending the festival will be required for admission, in accordance with current public health guidance. Further details on the festival entry process will be available in early July, officials said.

Four-day passes to Lollapalooza 2021 are currently on sale now for general admission, GA+, VIP, Platinum, and hotel packages.  Single-day tickets are expected to be made available at a later date. For additional information on Lollapalooza, please visit the festival’s official website.
