Welcoming 37 of electronic music’s most coveted acts, Starbase Music Festival will feature the likes of Alison Wonderland, Big Gigantic, NGHTMRE, San Holo, Subtronics, Svdden Death, Wooli, and of course its festival founders, SLANDER.  The festival will also be featuring a special back-to-back set with SLANDER and Said The Sky.

“Starbase was an idea we had a few years back of creating a place where all our artist friends could come together, hang out, and play music for like-minded people. A place where everyone is accepted and loved. A place where you can open your heart, let go of all problems, and rage harder than you ever have before. A place where emotion meets power. We are so grateful this idea is now a reality, and we can’t wait to feel the love that will be generated at Starbase. This is our biggest endeavor yet and our end goal with Starbase is to bring more light into this world. We love you all so much. Superhumans, welcome home!”

Alison Wonderland releases new single & video off upcoming album

Alison Wonderland recently released a new single and video for the track, “Bad Things” which is currently available to stream/download via Astralwerks here.

The track marks the first new music from Wonderland in 2020 and will be the first single to be released from her upcoming album, which is scheduled to be released in 2021.  “Bad Things” saw its debut in Wonderland’s Virtual Lollapalooza set and is a deeply personal song about “confronting your demons and dealing with them.”  The track features a string section leading into a raucous, yet blissful drop.

Directed by Peter Don and produced by Satien Mehta, the “Bad Things” video was filmed on location at an eerie rustic ranch in Santa Clarita, CA, and explores themes of dealing with one’s demons. View the video for “Bad Things.”

Wonderland has been writing, recording, and producing during quarantine and has also managed to keep busy with a number of side projects as well.  She has been seen performing in a number of virtual sets including one for Digital Mirage, she has been continuing to produce her globally broadcast radio show, “Radio Wonderland,” and has started a side hustle as a YouTuber with  DJ tutorials.   The artist also appears in the documentary Underplayed, which touches upon gender inequality in the electronic dance music scene and premiered at The Toronto Film Festival this month.

Alison Wonderland is a Los Angeles-based, Australian artist/producer whose streams of music have now surpassed 500 million. Each of her two previous albums Run and Awake hit the number one spot on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
