The star-studded single highlights the artistry of all those involved, which include poignant vocals atop the framework of inimitable producers Alesso & Marshmello.
“Chasing Stars” comes paired with an imaginative video directed by Jake Jelicich who is known for his work with Dua Lipa and Niall Horan. The visualizer highlights James Bay working at a video store that is transported into memories of a woman appearing on the screening in the store. The store walls are emblazoned with images of Alesso and Marshmello, making it a cohesive cinema showcasing each artist.
The single follows Alesso’s two-track release, Progresso Vol. 2 which saw its debut back in June and became the second installment of the 2010 series, Alesso Mixtape – Progresso Volume 1.
