Electronic music artist Crankdat unleashes his melodic debut EP on Monstercat titled, “Sad Robot” which is available to stream/download now.
Featuring a diverse range of bass-heavy tracks, “Sad Robot” is a five-track EP that features the previously released singles, “Better Without You” ft. JT Roach and “The Feeling” ft. Ace Aura in addition to the never-been-heard “Wish You Were Here,” “What It Feels Like (ft. KC),” and “Higher.” Showcasing the artist’s evolution in sound, the EP is a cohesive, colorful body of work with spine-tingling vocals and drops.
“‘Sad Robot’ EP is my first full-length EP since my ‘Gearworld Vol. 1’ EP in 2019. This EP showcases my melodic style in a manner reminiscent of the music I made when I first started my project back in 2015. Christian Smith, known artistically as Crankdat, is an electronic dance music producer known for his influence in the bass genre. His remixes and originals have seen widespread support from major artists like Marshmello, DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers, and more while his performances can be found at some of the most esteemed events including EDC Las Vegas, Wobbleland, and Sunset Music Festival.
