Glass Animals teamed-up with rising songstress Holly Humberstone on a mesmerizing live version of their international smash single, “Heat Waves”  for La Blogothèque, which can be heard here.

Featuring a captivating vocal performance by Glass Animals’ Dave Bayley and Holly Humberstone, the live version of “Heat Waves” strips back all of the layers of the song by creating an acoustic instrumental with an emotive ambience. Taking listeners on a journey through the streets of London, the visual features the duo eloquently singing in perfect harmony adding more versatility and depth to the widey revered single. 

“Heat Waves” most recently received a remix treatment by Oliver Heldens and Sonny Fodera who transformed the single into dance floor ready renditions. Oliver Heldens’s remix became EDMunplugged’s ‘Track Of The Month’ for February 2021 with both remixes out now via Republic Records.

Since seeing its debut in June 2020 “Heatwaves” has received international acclaim by hitting number one on Australia’s ARIA Singles Chart, number 12 on Spotify’s US Top 50 Chart, and number 31 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 Chart.  The track has gone on to receive  1.6 million global adjusted single sales and 262 million combined global streams (165 million on Spotify / 68 million in the US alone).  It peaked at 1.84 million daily streams and has received 12 million views for its video on YouTube. The track currently sits at the number three position on the Top 10 Alternative Radio Chart and continues to climb up the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and Billboard Global 200 Chart, making it the highest single chart peak success in the band’s history.

“Heat Waves” comes from Glass Animals’ critically-acclaimed album Dreamland, which entered the UK charts on its opening week at number two. The album clocked up 160 million streams in its first week of release and is currently available to stream/download.
