Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade announce a massive lineup for Digital Mirage Friendsgiving, a livestream event scheduled to take place on November 27 and November 28.
Featuring over 20 stellar electronic dance music acts, the event will feature performances by Benny Benassi, BLVK JVCK, DJ Sliink, Loud Luxury, Louis the Child, Nitti Gritti, Ookay (Live), Tchami b2b Dr. Fresch, The Glitch Mob, Tiësto, and ZHU B2B NGHTMRE and more. Hosted by Cray and Hannah Rad, the livestream will also be featuring a special surprise performance.
Digital Mirage’s virtual festivals have raised over $300,000 for a number of causes including Sweet Relief Musicians, the Equal Justice Initiative, and Color of Change. In line with its previous iterations, Digital Mirage Friendsgiving in partnership with Plus1 will also be accepting donations for the National Independent Venue Association‘s #SaveOurStages initiative. #SaveOurStages supports the most vulnerable venues to help keep them afloat with respective COVID-19 relief funds.
“It all started when Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade published their own tweets to ask artists and those of the electronic music community if they would be interested in hosting a festival style stream. We received an influx of support from fans and artists who wanted to be involved over the course of two weeks since those tweets. Since we both had the same idea and same audience, we decided to join as co-branded partners to host one large festival with the intent to raise as much money as possible for those out of work amid COVID-19 closures.”
