Producer, singer/songwriter bloody white announced the release of a brand new single titled, “i’m busy” which is currently available to stream/download here.
“i’m busy” is a lush, future-bass track that focuses on the struggles of the modern dating scene. bloody white uses complementary distortion and vinyl fx to add an extra tinge of nostalgia to his anthemic chorus. Recorded in White’s DIY artist bedroom where he grew up as a child with nothing but a laptop and midi keyboard, “i’m busy” was written when White was feeling distressed by his significant other and felt like the only time he would hear from her was when she needed something.
This track comes shortly after the release of “12am” back in Oct., which will be the lead single from bloody white’s forthcoming sophomore EP some reflections, due out on Dec. 2. Since its release, “12am” has been featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Pop, and Fresh Finds Indie. Both singles “12am” and “i’m busy” will appear on this upcoming EP.
