Electronic music producer Dave Spoon unleashes an anthemic summer house track, “Steels” which is available to stream/download now via Toolroom Records.

Opening with an uplifting beat, ¨Steels” is an emphatic, catchy house production with dance-floor appeal. Featuring calypso steel drums, the track infuses a number of Caribbean-inspired elements, making listeners feel as if they were on their own private island in the sun. With accented vocals at its topline and an infectious four-on-the-floor rhythm, the track is an irresistible release to put on heavy rotation this summer.
Simon Neale, known professionally by his artist aliases Dave Spoon and Shadow Child, is a longstanding member of the Toolroom family after making his debut on the imprint in 2005 with his, “21st Century” EP. Known for his massive 2006 release, ‘At Night’ which saw a huge level of physical sales and massive radio support, the track also received a rework with So Solid Crew’s Lisa Maffia on vocals, turning the release into “Bad Girl (At Night).” After creating his own Food Music record label, the artist debuted his new alter ego Shadow Child, where he saw massive success with records such as “23,” “Climbing (Piano Weapon),” “Ooh Tune,” and his remix of AlunaGeorge’s “Best Be Believing.”
