World-renowned DJ/producer Paul Oakenfold embraces his love for hip-hop with his latest release, “What’s Your Love Like” ft. Grammy Award-winning rapper Eve and emerging rapper Baby E. The track is available to stream/download via Perfecto Records here.

Eve’s instantly recognizable vocal kicks off the track as Baby E’s adlibs echo in the background. “What’s Your Love Like” crosses over a number of genres and features catchy pop-tones with a dance bassline coupled with Oakenfold’s signature groove.  

No stranger to hip-hop, Paul Oakenfold is known for his superstar collaborations on studio albums and has worked alongside Pharrell, Grandmaster Flash, Perry Farrell, and Ice Cube, to name a few. He has managed Britain’s #1 Hip-Hop DJs Mastermind and London All Star Breakers, who finished third in the world at the breakdancing Championship in New York City.  Oakenfold was head of  A&R for Profile Records in Europe which was home to Run DMC and Rob Base and was head of A&R for Champion Records where he signed DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.  He was also instrumental in signing the rap band Salt N Pepa and was hired by CBS Records / Sony to take care of Public Enemy, LL Cool J, and Beastie Boys on all ventures in the United Kingdom.

Paul Oakenfold has become is a veteran DJ/producer with an established portfolio that includes being hailed as, “World’s Best DJ” and “Best Trance DJ.”  He has proven to be one of the most influential figures in dance music with his Perfecto Records imprint becoming one of the longest-running dance record labels.  He has produced a number of soundtracks for Hollywood blockbuster movies including The Bourne Identity, Matrix Reloaded, and Shrek 2.

Rapper/actress Eve broke onto the scene in 1999 with her vocals on the Grammy-nominated The Roots track, “You Got Me.”  She further went on to release four solo albums.  In 2002 she received a Grammy-Award for “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” for the song “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” with Gwen Stefani.
