Legendary dance music artist Martin Garrix joined fellow producer Maejor on stage to announce their debut AREA21 album will be released on November 12 and will feature their new single, “Followers” which is currently available to stream/download now via Hollywood Records.

With hip-hop vibes and spit-fire lyrics, “Followers” is a diverse dance-pop production that blends a range of styles and sounds. With an electric guitar at its backdrop, the track’s fast-paced frenzied vocals are highlighted above grooving vibes, live instrumentals, and a relevant message to make it an enticing listen from start to finish.
“Followers” is paired perfectly with a meaningful video where the aliens M+M delete all of the world’s social media followers. Delivering a message about how the world relies heavily on social media to make itself feel more important, the video further drives the track’s lyrical point home.
This single coincides with the recent announcement of their debut album at iHeartRadioMusic Festival in Las Vegas, which will also feature their earlier hit releases “La La La,” “Pogo,” “Mona Lisa,” the recent “Lovin’ Every Minute.” The track became one of EDMunplugged’s Top Tracks for the month for August.
Since April of this year, AREA21 has already has amassed over 29M combined streams and a combined social imprint of over 42M.
