Tony Romera – VHS
Kicking off with the faint sound of house music in the distance, “VHS” is a nostalgic single that incorporates both smooth retro vocals with a soothing warm ambiance. Beaming a hopeful vibe throughout its entirety, the track is an ode to the artist’s family and the classic French house records that shaped him.
“This track comes from my heart. I had so many childhood memories when I wrote it and I wanted to give it that nostalgic but also hopeful vibe. I just imagine myself driving, watching a sick sunset by the sea, or watching childhood VHS cassettes with my family. That’s what this track is made for.”

The release compares paired with a sentimental music video that pans footage of the artist’s most precious moments of his youth. Driving the title of the single home, the visual is stitched together from VHS tapes that the artist received from his grandmother. Packed with foundational influences and memories, it provides a hint of what is to come with the artist’s full-length album due out later the year.
