Keeping the spirit of Miami Music Week alive, “Protocol Vibes – Miami 2021” features five new tracks from the tastemaker label, Protocol Recordings. Kicking off with a brand-new release by Nicky Romero titled, “You Used To,” the EP catapults with enticing energy as Romero dishes a catchy vocal of his signature progressive sound. Continuing the momentum with subsequent releases by Trilane, Sister’s Cap, SOLR, and Mantrastic, the EP traverse between an array of genres from deep grooving progressive with hints of disco and minimalism.
Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings imprint has always had a strong presence at Miami Music Week. Typically held in mid to late March each year, this year’s events were forced to cancel due to COVID-19. “Procol Vibes – Miami 2021” is intended to keep the vitality of its essence alive with an array of new music that is typically delivered over the course of the week-long event.
