Sampling legendary jazz musician, singer, and actor Cab Calloway, “MAMBO” is a boundary-pushing single that encapsulates the cultures of the American coast, the tropical islands of the Caribbean, and the eclectic European and African continents.
Directed by Brooklyn based designer & motion artist Helen Ratner, the music video for “MAMBO” blends electrifying colors with modernized graphic elements to showcase the diverse range of cultures represented in the release.
Known to break boundaries, Steve Aoki launched his own Latin music imprint Dim Mak En Fuego in 2020 signing breakout artists AQUIHAYAQUIHAY and Andrekza.
