Slippy debuts on New Noise with ‘Free’

EDM DJ/producer Slippy announced a brand-new release titled, “Free” which is currently available to stream/download via New Noise.

Slippy – Free

Taking listeners on an inventive journey, “Free” merges meditative sounds with electronic synth and bass.  It is an evocative track embodying Slippy’s iconic sound, which can be best described as being a mixture of genres with dark undertones and orchestral influence.  Packed with lush sonic textures and energetic bass drops, “Free” is a compelling piece of work that proves why the artist has become a staple in the bass music scene.

Alex Swartwout, more commonly referred to by his artist name Slippy, is an EDM producer and DJ hailing from Tampa, Florida.  The artist began releasing music with Monstercat in 2015.  Therefore, “Free” marks the artist’s first release on New Noise.  His eminent sounds have garnered support from the likes of Steve Aoki, Diplo, Seven Lions, NGHTMRE, and Adventure Club, as well as song placements in Rocket League and Beat Saber video games.

What began as a compilation series highlighting fresh new faces, New Noise has emerged into becoming a discovery imprint with tracks hand-picked by Steve Aoki and Dim Mak.  All music off New Noise is currently copyright free, allowing Twitch gamers and amateur YouTube stars to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.  For additional information on Dim Mak or New Noise, please visit the label’s official website.
