Marcus Santoro announced the release of his highly-anticipated EP titled, “A New Day,” which is currently available to download/stream via Protocol Recordings.

Featuring the title track of the EP, “A New Day” which saw its debut back in November, the EP also includes two unreleased tracks “Give Into You” and “Symphony.” “A New Day” delivers emotive, hopeful lyrics that deliver a message that positive times are ahead. Showcasing Santoro’s signature mix of progressive house that fuses hints of trance, the diversified single delivers gorgeous melodies and driving bass lines that merge beautifully with the soulful vocals of Misha Mills.
“Give Into You” features the sultry vocals of Lauren L’aimant, who Santoro previously worked with on the track, “Blackout’.” Complementing Santoro’s harmonic melodies, the artist makes a triumphant return with Santoro suited for rhythmic house bliss. L’aimant has performed alongside the likes of Icarus, Rüfüs Du Sol, Cubicolor & Lane8 to name a few.
The EP’s final track “Symphony” is a collaborative effort between Marcus Santoro and Indian artist Roan Shenoyy. Closing out the EP with deep basslines and undulating melodies, “Symphony” provides the EP with its darkest and pure upbeat vibe. Roan Shenoyy has also released on Revealed and Enhanced Recordings, among others.
Australian artist Marcus Santoro made his Protocol Recordings debut with the 2019 remix of Nicky Romero’s “My Way” which went on to become his most streamed track to date. Further cementing his place in the industry, the artist topped Beatport trance chart with “Shine” in collaboration with Sentinel which also received support by Above & Beyond on their weekly Group Therapy radio show. This also offered Santoro the opportunity to guest appear on the show subsequently after. The artist has also released music for Axtone, Enhanced, Armada, and Flashover. Adding to his Protocol Recordings catalog of releases include “Out of My Head” with Faderx, “Faces” and “Blackout” ft. Lauren L’aimant. Closing out the year strong with “A New Day EP” fans are now clamoring for what is to come in the new year.
