On August 28, Disclosure announced the release of their highly anticipated album, ENERGY which is currently available now on Capitol Records and can be downloaded or streamed here.
ENERGY marks the follow-up release to their Grammy-nominated 2015 Caracol. To announce their album release the electronic dance music duo unveiled the official video for “Birthday” featuring Kehlani & Syd.
The duo has also teamed up with design collective Blockworks and Island Records to create an immersive meta-verse within Minecraft inspired by ENERGY. Fans can join Disclosure’s dedicated server in the video game and discover a square mile of hills, rolling streams, and dark caverns made up of 100 million blocks. It has also recently been announced that Disclosure will be a part of the newest line-up for the BBC Radio 1 Residency. Disclosure’s residency will air on BBC Radio 1 every second Monday of the month, beginning September 14.
Guy and Howard Lawrence make up the electronic dance music duo Disclosure. This year will mark 10 years since their first single release, “Offline Dexterity.” Since then, the two have released two studio albums, Settle in 2013 and Caracal in 2015. Both of their full-length albums topped the U.K. Official Albums chart and received Grammy nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
