The world-renowned music festival, Coachella, announces its highly-anticipated return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California for two weekends on April 15-17, 2022, and on April 22-24, 2022.
Marking its long-awaited return in over two years, Coachella 2022 is expected to deliver a range of headlining performances by some of music’s A-list acts. To coincide with this announcement, pre-sale tickets to Coachella 2022 wil be released on Friday, June 4th at 10 am PT (Pacific Time). Fans are encouraged to sign-up to be placed on the waiting list due to the anticipated demand for the upcoming event.
Over the course of 2020 and 2021, Coachella was forced to cancel three separate times due to COVID-19. The festival was originally slated to take place in 2020 with headliners Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against the Machine on April 10-12 and April 17-19. However, it was then pushed to the weekends of Oct. 9-11 and Oct. 16-18, 2020 and then cancelled its 2021 edition back in January of this year. The last time the festival took a hiatus was after its 1999 debut and its 2001 return.
The lineup for Coachella 2022 still has yet to be revealed; however, the event is known to feature an eclectic range of acts from a vast spectrum of genres. Previous performances include globally recognized music artists Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Madonna, Daft Punk, Prince, Paul McCartney, The Killers, Jay-Z, Fedde Le Grand, and Nora En Pure to name a few.
