Opening with a performance of “This Version of You,” which became their first track off their Grammy-nominated album The Last Goodbye, ODESZA kicked-off their set with a live orchestra of stringed instruments on stage that built a crescendo of musical energy so tangible it made one’s hair stand on end and heart beat feel all the more palpable. The gripping opening made way for the duo erupting into fast-paced drums to the track, “Behind the Sun ” as fire blazed on stage in unison to each and every drum beat.

ODESZA flawlessly kept the crowd’s attention for a non-stop two hours by championing exclusive VIP live versions of their singles to placate fans both old and new.  Harnessing an adept blend of brash beats with breakdowns of tracks that featured emotive vocals, the duo welcomed multiple singers on stage to perform live versions of some of their most prized releases. This included two performances by Mansionair who added impassioned vocals to “Line of Sight” and “Heavier,”  Charlie Houston donning velvety, soft lyrics to “Wide Awake” as well as Izzy Bizu performing an upbeat, radiating rendition of “Forgive Me” to name a few.

To add to the grandiosity of the evening, a live drum line performed in unison to open to one of the duo’s most coveted tracks, “Bloom.”  ODESZA teased fans by performing snippets of the vocals while trombones performed on opposite ends of the stage to further raise the vibrational energy of the performance. At the song’s climax, fireworks sprinkled like confetti to radiate the stage, making the moment feel all the more magical sending the audience into a mesmerized uproar.

The duo brought the evening to a close with a moving rendition of “Light of Day ”which brought the symphony of the stringed instruments together along with enrapturing visuals to further enhance the track’s meaningful nuances. A finale performance of, “The Last Goodbye” fittingly became the finale song of the night as the brass, string instruments, and drums were brought together to create a cohesive finale. Complete with pink and gold lasers and sprawling confetti erupting onto the crowd, the performance left fans captivated by the emotional enormity of it all and privileged to experience The Last Goodbye Tour one final time.

In 2023, ODESZA released The Last Goodbye Cinematic Experience in over 700 theaters in 23 countries for one night only, bringing the mesmerizing live performance to new audiences across the globe. Recently the film also became available for purchase across streaming services worldwide.
