Grammy-nominated dance music producer Boys Noize (Alex Ridha) continues his string of double singles with the release of “Nude” featuring Tommy Cash and “Xpress Yourself,” which are available to pre-save now and will be released on July 22 via Boysnoize Records.
Teaming up with Tommy Cash who laces in a seductive vocal hook, “Nude” incorporates thundering tribal percussion with atonal samples and screeches. Sharing a mutual appreciation of ex-Soviet Rave culture, the duo express this through their own creation of a retro-future-shocked sound. Accompanying the release is a music video directed by SUS BOY, a frequent collaborator of Boys Noize. This marks the second collaboration between Boys Noize and Tommy Cash and follows their work on Cash’s album ¥€$.
The following track “Xpress Yourself” is one that Ridha has taken years to make. It has been road-tested to perfection and redefined with each play out by allowing the audience’s response to sharpen its edge The release also includes “Xpress Yourself Pt. 2”, a more EBM-informed iteration of the track’s evolution with an ARP-2600 driven arpeggio.
This double single follows Ridha’s dynamic dual release “Ride Or Die” and “IU.” For additional information on Boys Noize, please visit his official website.
