House music talent Claptone collaborates with electronic indie duo APRE on a buoyant house release, “My Night” which is available to stream/download now via Different Recordings.

Claptone ft. APRE – My Night

Kicking off with a compelling vocal, “My Night” is a free-spirited, upbeat dance release with feel-good summer vibes. The track’s uplifting piano chords pair perfectly with its euphoric harmonies that dazzle with exuberance from start to finish.  Sprinkled with a touch of indie and a pinch of French house, the release is a perfect melting pot of sounds from both distinguished artists.

In accordance with the release, “My Night” is matched with a nostalgic official music video. Directed by Keith Musil, the video follows two teens’ adventures into an underground dance space where they can showcase their unique individual talents. Musil has previously worked with Fox, Universal, Interscope, Warner Bros, Vice, and GQ TV amongst many others.

“If I had a surfboard this is one [track] I’d instinctively develop a desire to catch a wave to. It’s one of those that you instantly wanna listen to again after it ends and again after it ends and so on. I really love it with all of my heart.”

“I was thinking about the theme of the song it brought me back to a night out I had in a club in Manchester that went so very wrong. I decided I wanted this song to be for all those people who were trying to have a good night out, which was then completely ruined by their friend or partner.”
