Electronic music duo Mathame kick off a four-part remix release for Italian pianist and composer Alessandro Martire with “Breath” which is available to stream/download via Ultra Music.

Opening with a gorgeous euphoric feel, Mathame puts their own ambient spin on Alessandro Martire’s piano instrumental, “Breath.” The emotive, captivating release is filled with atmospheric soundscapes and celestial vocals leaving listeners in a soothing, meditative state.
“Breath” is the first of four remixes that Mathame will release for the composer Alessandro Martire. Further remixes will include Mathame’s take on tracks from his Share The World album by Havoc & Lawn, BLR, and John Talabot. “Breath” also recently became Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on his BBC radio show last Friday.
“We put our emotional touch to the original record transferring the feeling it gave us from the first listen. An almost ethereal emotion but with movement and groove, we had this image: how to stand in front of luminous cables of some kind of material that stretch and relax and vibrate together, almost breathing, like a body.”
Mathame
Mathame is an Italian DJ/production duo made up of brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli. The duo emerged onto the scene in 2018 with the hit tracks, “Nothing Around Us” and “Fade Into You.” Their 2020 release “Never Give Up” via B1 Recordings/Ministry Of Sound was awarded The Essential New Tune accolade by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong. They most recently launched a groundbreaking series of mixtapes that have been put together with a brand new A.I. algorithm via Apple Music. “Old Neural Mixtape Vol.1” landed in March 2021, with further installments to follow throughout the year.
