Production duo Silk City enlists TSHA to remix their lauded release “New Love” with Ellie Goulding, which is available to stream/download via Columbia Records.

Opening with delicate piano chords, TSHA reimagines “New Love” with an enchanting production that places Ellie Goulding’s vocals at its forefront. Using breakbeats as the track’s rhythmic foundation, the remix takes on a more ambient tone in comparison to its dance-pop predecessor while dishing the same level of impact. “New Love” adds to TSHA’s expansive catalog of remixes that include work for Aluna, Lane 8, Lianne La Havas, Qrion, and KUU.
“New Love” saw its debut in late January, which marked the end of a hiatus between production duo Silk City. Made up of dance music producer Diplo and pop-star producer Mark Ronson, the duo began working in the studio with an intention to pay homage to house, disco, and dance which became inspirational genres for both producers.
Since 2018, Silk City has released “Electricity” with Dua Lipa earning the duo a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording and went on to become certified Platinum in the U.S. and U.K. while topping a number of charts worldwide. The production project was named after the Philadelphia diner where Diplo and Ronson first met over 20 years ago.
