Grammy-nominated duo CamelPhat revealed the official music video for their latest release “Easier,” which is available to stream/download from their recent album Dark Matter via Columbia Records / RCA UK.

CamelPhat – Easier

Directed by Tom Haines, the music video depicts a string of dancers performing alone in a vacant London nightclub, FOLD to honor the struggling night clubs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the pandemic began, CamelPhat have been trying to support the nightlife and hospitality industries by petitioning for movements such as Let Us Dance and recently recording their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in the empty multi-purpose London venue, Printworks.

“There’s nothing more frustrating than knowing all that energy and potential we collectively enjoy is hanging in the balance, mothballed while it waits to be reanimated. That’s what I wanted to conjure with the video for ‘Easier,’ the idea that it’s just within reach, that the rich history of clubbing and dance music and all that brings with it, is in the ether. I hope that it’s by parts joyous, ecstatic, and also emotional as a video. Shooting it was just a dream, having been holed up at home so much, to then be in a club environment with a creative team was truly amazing, and hearing the song blasting on a proper system, watching Dominant our dancer do their thing, genuinely gave me goosebumps.”

Camelphat’s “Easier” has been added to Radio 1 B List, KISS Dance, and Capital Dance as it receives spins across Capital FM and KISS FM. Further, the single has also been added to SiriusXM’s Diplo’s Revolution and BPM (U.S.), Triple J ATB (Australia), Studio Brussel, Radio FG, Tomorrowland Radio (Belgium), and more.

Featured off CamelPhat’s highly anticipated debut album, Dark Matter, the album has gone on to become one of the most recognized indie/electronic albums of the year.  The LP featured a diverse mix of collaborations with A-list artists and those that are up-and-coming.  Among the artists featured include Noel Gallagher, Jake Bugg, and Yannis Philipakkis as well as Skream, Eli & Fur, and Will Easton.
