Dutch dance music duo Showtek announce the release of an inspiring new single, ‘Show Some Love’ ft. sonofsteve which is currently available to stream/download via their recording label Skink.

Showtek – Show Some Love ft. sonofsteve

Merging dance music and pop, “Show Some Love” spreads a message of hope during these trying times amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.  Opening with a classic progressive buildup, Showtek showcases their production ability by stepping outside the realms of any particular genre. The track incorporates deep, funky basslines with organic instrumental melodies, which pair perfectly with the track’s soulful vocals.  The inspirational track delivers a message of unity, positivity, and love that transcends boundaries, which has always been at the heart and soul of dance music culture.

“With this song, we’re continuing to spread a positive message through our music, that hopefully brings people together in a time of divide. This year has been turbulent for everybody. Not only because of the pandemic but also because of the systemic racism that has finally been brought to light. We felt it was time to spread some love and give the people something positive to listen to. We want our fans to know that we love them no matter what skin color, religion, sexuality, or gender. We believe in a world where everybody is treated equally and where you can live together in our differences, that’s what makes us all beautiful.”

Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen are brothers who make-up the Dutch electronic music duo Showtek. They exploded onto the scene in 2012 with the hit singles, “Cannonball” and “Booyah,” which have since categorized Showtek’s trademark sound. “Booyah” reached the top five position on the UK Singles Chart and became the duo’s first major hit.  Their 2014 hit, “Bad” with David Guetta dominated international charts, went 10 times platinum, and garnered over 1 billion streams worldwide.  They have worked with massive music artists inside and outside of the dance music industry including Major Lazer, Tiesto, Chris Brown, and David Guetta.  When the duo is not releasing gigantic hits, fans can find them on the main stages of some of the most desirable music festivals including Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Lollapalooza, and Electric Zoo to name a few.  For additional information on Showtek, please visit their official website.
