Skrillex uploaded a new, solo track titled “Kliptown Empryrean” on Soundcloud today, which can be heard at the following link.  The artist has been teasing fans since January about a follow-up album to his 2014 debut Recess. “Kliptwon Empyrean” is anticipated to be part of this larger forthcoming project.

The artist shared a picture on Twitter earlier in the morning stating that it was the “First time ever using Ableton’s ‘share on SoundCloud feature.” Shortly thereafter, “Kliptown Empyrean’ was uploaded to the artist’s Soundcloud page. 

The artist then shared the track’s Soundcloud link in a Tweet and stated that he was still finishing “the main body of work,” which fans hope will be an upcoming album or albums from the artist.

Skrillex teamed-up with Ty Dolla $ign, Kanye West, and FKA Twigs on the track “Ego Death” back in July to much worldwide acclaim.  The artist is a 9-time Grammy Award winner whose tracks include “Bangarang” (2012), “Purple Lamborghini” ft. Rick Ross (2016), “Would You Ever” with Poo Bear (2017), and “Midnight Hour” ft. Boys Noize and Ty Dolla $ign (2019). 

The artist is also known for his collaborative work with Diplo on the album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü which earned the artist two Grammys in 2016 for Best Dance Music Album and Best Dance Recording “Where Are Ü Now” ft. Justin Bieber.
