Mikey Lion and his Desert Hearts crew of Marbs, Porky, and Lee Reynolds returned to Elements Music Festival in an exclusive pre-party back-to-back performance as they took over the festival’s Air Stage amidst the drizzling rain and heavy showers.
Kicking off at 7 PM, the intimate performance felt all the more special as Lee Reynolds celebrated his 69th birthday that evening with the crowd emphatically singing “Happy Birthday” to him in unison. As expected, the group dished non-stop grooving house and tech house with its positive familial vibes.
Thursday night also saw a pre-party performance from Of The Trees who performed a versatile set filled with bass drops and celestial soundscapes at the festival’s new and improved Water Stage. Unveiling a surprising upgrade from its 2023 edition, this year’s stage emitted lasers and water out of a circular pink “Funktapus,” amazing revelers as they bounced to the bass.

If these pre-party performances are any indication of what Elements Music Festival 2024 has to come, it is well on its way to becoming its biggest and best edition yet.
