In a statement released on the festival’s website, Electric Forest announced that it must postpone its re-scheduled 2021 edition to summer 2022.
Despite the ongoing efforts to make its 2021 event happen, Electric Forest made a decision that the effects of COVID-19 could not make this year’s edition possible. Please see below a portion of the statement released on its website.
“After a tumultuous year full of challenges, HQ has eagerly anticipated and worked towards our collective return to Electric Forest. However, as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have continued, it has become clear that we are not going to be able to gather in 2021 and that postponing to 2022 is our only course of action.
While we all miss each other tremendously and can’t wait to connect again, the safety of the Forest Family and the community that hosts us remains of utmost importance.”
