BPM Festival Costa Rica 2021 announced that it is postponed until January 12-18, 2022 in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. The festival was initially expected to take place on March 3-7, 2021; however, organizers of the event could not receive Costa Rican government’s clearance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a Facebook announcement, the event revealed,

“From the beginning, plans for our upcoming edition were based on Costa Rican governmental guidance on the gradual return of mass events, which included 100% event capacity by March 2021 in the country.  Our collaborative work with the government of Costa Rica was constant; however, complete clarity on restrictions remained unattainable, and therefore we felt we would not be able to deliver the festival experience we strive to give you, and more importantly, that you expect from us.”
