South by Southwest (SWSW) announced SXSW Online for its 2021 edition with the event featuring conference keynotes, screenings, showcases, networking, and exhibitions. SXSW EDU Online will run from March 9-11, 2021, and SXSW Online will take place from March 16 -20, 2021.
PanelPicker proposals for SXSW and SXSW EDU will open for the digital experience on Oct. 6 and can be submitted here. The event will also open Film Festival submissions on that date as well, which can be submitted here.

SXSW is currently working with the City of Austin and public health officials in delivering the physical event, which is scheduled to take place in March 2021.
